Joey Livingston moves to Huntington Beach, California for her last year in High School. She thought it was because of her moms job offering but she didn't realize it was for her safety. Joey's had a complicated past. And didn't even think twice as it all became too real. She starts to push her new best friend and the love of her life, Matt Sanders, away knowing that he will never be safe with her. The bond that they once shared was over the night she left after graduation. But the feelings have always stayed in their hearts.
