Twinfestation

I braced myself against the door, kicking myself back to fight the force known as Yu pushing on the other side. For a skinny Asian girl, she had more muscle than you would think, actually putting up a fairly good fight to get into my room.

Trying to get them out of the house was not as successful as I had hoped. As soon as I'd said that it was late and they should leave, Yu had accused me of trying to help in Silver's rape and chased me down the hall with a pocket knife. Spunky, she is, to say the least. Insane to say the most.

The knife slid under the door seconds after I'd locked it and turned to face it, the blade just barely avoiding slicing my hand. However it did succeed in cutting up a little bit of my slumber-worthy gray carpet that matched my dual gray walls.

Assuming she had silently retreated, I climbed into my armed computer chair and turned to face the black screen. I didn't turn it on, only looked passed it to the gray wall behind.

What was I going to do now? Sit here, hostage in my own house, my own room, as Silver's last specks of energy were stolen away by his friends? He'd most definitely end up passed out, lost in the woods somewhere. But Ash was with him, so I didn't have much to worry about with that fact.

I cringed, thinking that some inked up, oversized, perverted, britshit could protect him better than I could.

The screen lit up as the software awoke, signing into every network I was apart of. Which was basically half of the Internet. Almost as soon as I had touched the mouse, a familiar face popped on screen with a 'ying'.

"Salem!" Hayden's child-like face smiled at me from the screen. "I was hoping you hadn't gone to bed yet."

"Hey babe. What's up?"

"I've been trying to get to you all day, what have you been doing?" Hayden's face was nice, but it didn't exactly appeal to me. Don't get me wrong, he's a handsome kid, but I liked more cute, or beautiful, things.

He wasn't too innocent either. He was always the first to jump in my bed, taking advantage of knowing I have a hard time saying no to anything. But he tasted of oranges and was good at keeping quiet when Silver was home, so I didn't complain.

Was I in it for the sex? I'd say almost definitely. Relationships are meant to find someone to love or someone to fuck. Since I already loved someone, and was pretty sure I always would, I needed someone to fuck. Love wasn't a option for me or anyone I dated.

"I lost my phone, I haven't called anyone all day." My panic from last nigh returned. Mom's going to skewer me when she finds out. The phone I've had for a full three weeks already lost and probably damaged.

"I know." He gave a smug grin as he waved the sleek Iphone next to his head. "I found it after my third text."

"Thanks babe, you saved my ass." I sighed and smiled, relieved. "I'll come get it tomorrow."

"No need, we have a date, remember? Up-bridge comes out tomorrow and you promised to take me to see it." Leaning over his desk, he raised a honey blond eye brow and brushed his hair out of his light brown eyes. "Slip your mind again?"

"Fuck, Hayden, I'm sorry." Pushing my palms against my eyes, I sighed frustratedly. I never remember dates for anything, unless they're with Silver. "I work most of the day tomorrow, we have a train wreck coming in and they left it to me. I'm sorry, I can't take you."

He chuckled and I moved my hands to see he was laughing at me. "Don't sweat it, big guy. It's no big deal, you can make it up to me later."

"Right, later. So I'll get it on my way to work?"

"Yep, I'll be up early. So I'm going to bed now, talk to you later?"

"Yeah." I smiled and waved at him. "Night."

"Night" he smiled before he turned off his cam. "See you in the morning."

I leaned back in my chair and stared up at the blank, colorless ceiling. Silence was not a gift I was granted as bangs and foreign words penetrated my door.

I sighed. "Morning." 

This was going to be a long night.
