The Rebel Granger

A loud bang erupted from the class room as three students ran down the corridor, nearly collapsing from their laughter.

"Mr. Weasley, Mr. Weasley, and Ms. Granger. I suspect you three are the cause of all this?" Professor McGonagall questioned the three.

"Yes ma'am," the girl replied quietly.

"Detention. Tonight, immediately after dinner. In my office." McGonagall sighed as she left to go clean up the students' mess.

"Oi George, that was bloody brilliant!" The Weasley to the right of the girl, beamed at his brother.

"Why thank you brother," The Weasley to the left of the girl grinned.

"I'm hungry. Let's eat, boys!" Reagan grinned as she lead the way to the great hall.

"Reagan! You've already gotten a detention this year? It's the first day back!" Hermione Granger huffed as Reagan took her usual seat next to her cousin.

"Aren't you proud, baby cousin?" Reagan beamed, obviously proud of herself.

"Absolutely not! It's absurd! How do you think your father is going to react?!" Hermione continued to scold her like her mother.

"Mione, He'll probably blow a gasket like usual! Does it ever matter? No. So get off my case. I had to start this year off with a bang-"

"Literally," Fred and George added together, snickering.

"Reagan. You need to start taking your studies seriously and quit pulling pranks with Fred and George!" Hermione continued to rant, but Reagan turned her full attention to the twins and Lee Jordan, who were much, much more entertaining.

"Oi Fred, George! We're going to be late for detention if we don't hurry our asses up!" Reagan mumbled with her mouth full of potatoes.

"Thanks Rea, I really appreciated that shower of potatoes you have just given me." George grumbled as he wiped the small chunks off his face. Reagan blushed after she realized that she had just spit potatoes everywhere.

"Oh goodness! I'm sorry George!" She said after she swallowed the food in her mouth.

"Don't worry about it, love," George winked at her before turning back to his plate.

Reagan's heart stopped, well she'd swear that it did. She had begun liking George after the first time he invited her to join them in a prank. That was the beginning of her second year, their third. She smiled at the thought of their first prank and at the fact that George might have the same feelings for her.

"Hey Rea, we're leaving to go to detention a few minutes early." Fred leaned across the table and whispered to her. Reagan nodded, understanding that they were going to pull a prank that would more then likely get them into more trouble, but they didn't care. They left the Great Hall one at a time to be less suspicious, Reagan was the first to leave then George and lastly Fred.

"So boys, what are we doing now?" Reagan whispered quietly as the three of them hid behind the statue outside the Great Hall.

"Our newest invention." George beamed, proud of not only himself but his brother as well.

"We call it 'Weasleys' Wild-Fire Whiz-Bangs'!" Fred grinned as he pulled out a small box from his messenger bag.

"What a funny name!" Reagan snorted out a giggle. Fred glared at her for a minute before pointing his wand at the small box and mumbling something. He quickly picked up the box and ran out from behind the statue to place it in front of the Great Hall doors. George and Reagan ran to the doors and started loudly banging on them.

"Mr. Filch, please go see what all the racket is about." They heard Dumbledore through the doors. They looked at one another before running down the corridor towards Professor McGonagall's office. They had just rounded the corner when they heard the pops of the explosions, seen the flashes of colors, and heard the gasps and cheers of the fellow students. We stopped for a second to admire our work before taking off down the corridor again.

"Those damn Weasley Twins and that rebel Granger," Filch mumbled as he cleaned up their mess. The first of many, he's sure.
