The Cursed Son and the Hand-Holder

Kenneth O'Hara is the middle child of Nicholas and Melissa O'Hara, a Mormon couple that is the pride of the town and the proud owner of the town's hairdresser and its best bakery. Kenneth's two older sisters are in renowned universities, his younger sister is an exceptional painter and his 13-year-old brother aspires to be a priest. They are the perfect family; or would be, if only Kenneth wasn't so screwed up.
The story starts on October 3rd, 2011, and then picks up precisely one year before, to understand what made Kenneth go out that night. It then follows him as his friendship with his best-friend since ever, Aidan Ross, grows and weakens, and Kenneth learns about love, life and himself.
Is it really worth growing up?
