No Clue Why You Left

Ready

When I got to the venue a package from Addi greeted me. I wanted to run back to the bus and tear it open but I stayed, placing it on the amp and setting up for the show. I wanted the same euphoric feeling from last night. The numbness.

Watching the video Addi sent me was heartbreaking, but beautiful. Our daughter was beautiful. I really hoped she would come back.

I ended up checking myspace, seeing new pictures of her. There was one of some dude, Trent, as the caption said, kissing her stomach. The next one was of him holding her. I couldn't look at them anymore. Slamming the laptop shut I marched off to the bunks, ignoring the sad looks the guys were giving me. I curled up in the bunk, resisting the urge to bang my head into the wall.

She was moving on.

But I wasn't ready.
