Draco Malfoy Said He Loved Me...

I walked into the common room with Draco on my right and Danni on my left, with Blaise on her left. Draco barked at everyone to get lost, and they did just that (Everyone except me, Danni and Blaise), so we had the whole room to our selves
“Good job” I said to Draco, and he grinned at me
“Anything for you” he replied, and I cuffed his head. His fringe made him look just like a cute little puppy that you’d so want to buy at a pet shop. I mentioned that to him, and he scowled
“Oh calm down Draco. What about if I said a big, buff dog then? Would you be happy?” I asked
“Do I look like a big, hard dog?”
“Nah. You look just like a cute puppy. Or, as Danni so fondly reminded you, a teddy bear” I said, and he scowled once more. It was so fun to see him get upset every time he thought Danni didn’t like him in that way. Well, he had to learn the hard way I suppose. We were talking about our latest plans to sabotage Potter when my mobile rang “Keep ‘burning him alive and then feeding him to cannibals on your mind ok? I gotta take this call” I said, as Draco looked at me suspiciously, along with the other three. I glared at them. It was the guy who I’d given my phone number to at the beginning of the year, the one who said I was a bad girl
“Hi Blade!” I said, smiling to myself. Draco scowled, whilst Danni raised her eyebrows and giggled. Blaise just cocked his head to one side and thought who the hell Blade was, and Danni reminded him. “Oh, sorry. I was in the hospital ward this week, that’s why I didn’t get to pick up your call.” I said, twirling a lock of hair in my hand. This is how the conversation went –
Blade – yeah I called you like 10 times
Kelly – yeah, like I said, I’m really sorry
Blade – it’s fine. I was gonna ask if you wanted to go out in the winter holidays and such, cause it’s almost near that time.
Kelly – um. What day? (I got out my planner on my phone – I can call someone at the same time as doing something else on it)
Blade – I thought… maybe Christmas day
Kelly – Christmas day… I’d love to (Ignoring Danni’s desperate hand signals to say no)
Blade – cool. Uh, I’ll pick you up at 8pm yeah?
Kelly – cool
Blade – where’d you live?
Kelly – uh…. (I really didn’t want to tell him) Dark Manor
Blade – Woah!
Kelly – why, do you know it? (Trying not to sound desperate)
Blade – Nah. But it sounds cool. See ya at 8”
Kelly – Ok. Bye (smiling. Clicked off phone)

I twirled round and round the room in excitement, dancing round and hugging Danni
“He asked me out on Christmas day, he asked me out on Christmas day!” I sang “What am I gonna wear? What can I get for him as a present? Oh god!” I said, smiling with glee and waltzing round the room with Danni, but she stepped backwards “What?” they were all scowling at me
“We were all gonna meet up on Christmas at Malfoy Manor remember?” she asked me, sounding huffy
“Oh come on Danni! You have to admit! He’s hot! And he thought I was blowing him off the whole week cause I didn’t pick up the phone. But he still tried to get hold of me!” I said, pleading with her
“Yeah but we’re you’re best friends” Danni said, sitting back down on the chair huffily
“Why cant you lot be happy for me? I’m finally happy! I haven’t been this happy since…” I started, but tears welled up in my eyes, and I ran away into my dorm room
“Kelly!” Danni called after me, and I could hear all three of them running after me, but I just ran into my room and locked the door. Draco and Blaise had stopped at the stairs as they were forbidden to go any further near the girl’s dorm, but Danni still chased after me “Kelly I’m sorry for snapping at you. I know you’re really happy, and I don’t mind if you go on that date anyways Kelly. Please just open the door”
“No!” I sobbed, crying into my pillow. I heard her sigh
“Alohomara” she said, and the door unlocked. Damn! Why hadn’t I thought of magically locking the door?
“Kelly I’m really sorry”
“Go away”
“Kelly look, you can go ok?”
“Just leave me alone!” I yelled, and ran out of the room. What I was going to say was that I hadn’t been this happy since my mother died. Why couldn’t they see that?
“Kelly!” Draco yelled as I ran down the stairs. He grabbed hold of me by my waist and pulled me towards him
“Get lost Draco!” I yelled, but he pulled me into a long hug. I cried onto his shoulder, and when I had stopped, he wiped my face “I’m like a baby. With you wiping my face” I said giggling, and took hold of the cloth and wiped away my face “Sorry I wet your shirt” I said, pointing my wand at his shoulder where I’d cried and dried it
“It’s alright” he said, grinning at me. We all looked at each other for a bit, and I sighed, and then rang Blade back
“Hi! It’s Kelly. Listen, uh, I can’t meet up with you on Christmas, I wanna hang out with my friends. Its not that I don’t like you, but they mean a lot to me” I said, as Danni shook her head, her eyes wide and mouthed no towards me along with Blaise, thought Draco seemed slightly reluctant “New year?” I asked, more to Danni than to Blade. She smiled “Sure. I’d love to. 8pm it is” I said, and then turned off my phone. Draco’s face had fallen, but I put my palms against his cheeks
“You get to hang out with me until the 1st ok Draco? So no long faces” I said, and we all laughed before going down to grab some lunch.
