Liam loved Jase like there was no tomorrow, loved him with all his heart, his body, his soul.
Liam would've given anything for Jase, and Jase knew that; he'd used it to his advantage far too often and Liam hated that but he could never leave Jase because the second he did, people would know about them, about how Jase was cheating on Scarlett and how Liamnjase were closer than best friends should be.
He and Jase didn’t have a relationship, seeing as Jase was dating Scarlett, so it was more like they were fuck buddies. It didn’t stop Liam from loving him and it didn’t stop Jase from treating Liam like they were dating sometimes—holding hands and wrapping his arms around his waist and kissing him on the cheek and watching stupid movies with him. Liam cherished every second they were together and kept the memories they had together hidden at the back of his mind, and sometimes, when Jase was with Scarlett or when someone said something that hurt Liam’s feelings or when the dark past he kept hidden came to surface, he’d sit on his bed and take out those happy Liamnjase memories and smile.
