Kala Van Helsing and Izzy Kidd are semi-professional vampire hunters from the Vatican's secret Diablo branch. When the branch begins to suspect that there is undead activity in the eastern coast of the United States, they send the two to St. Augustine's Preparatory School, assigning them new indentities to join the student body in hopes to get them closer to friends of the victims. At first one creature was suspected, maybe a teacher. But as time passes and there are more deaths, Kal and Izzy begin to think there may be a cult involved, maybe even a cult of students.
