One Big Happy Family

Alex's POV:
-2 weeks later-

Its been a little over a week since the babys have been home and its been hectic, but even though its hard i love it. The babys wake up a lot during the night which basically means very little sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night to Sophie shaking me and babys crying, i looked at the clock 2:35 am. Its to early for this. I tryed ignoring her but i couldnt.

"Alex" Sophie said poking me

"What?" i mumbled

"Your turn" she said

"Nooo" i whinned

"Alex get the hell up, ive done it the last two times!" she said mad

I walked into the nursery and both babys were crying, everytime i hear them crying i panic. I picked both of them up and tryed to calm them down. It wasnt working. I sat down in the rocking chair and started singing to them, it actually worked!. I sang two songs to them before they fell asleep. I put them back into the cribs and went back to bed.

"Hey Alex?" Sophie said

"Hmm?" i asked with my eyes closed

"I heard you singing to them" she said and i opened my eyes

"Really?" i asked

"Mhmm, and it was so sweet" she said

"How did you hear it?" i asked

"Doors were open" she said

"Ohhh" i said

"Yep. Well we should get back to bed" she said

"Night" i said

"Night" she said and i turned away from her

The next morning i woke up and the sun was really bright. I could hear a lot of talking in the other room, i got up and left the room. I went out to the kitchen and Sophie was cooking and Jack and Sophies mom were playing with the twins.

"Hey" i said

"Hey!" everyone said

"What time is it?" i asked

"Like almost ten" Sophie said

"Oh. So what are you making?" i asked going over and leaning my chin on her shoulder

"Pancakes" Sophie said

"Mmmm yummy in my tummy" i said

After the pancakes were done we all sat at the table to eat. While i was eating i was also feeding Micah, Jack was doing the same with Casey. It was crazy how obsessed with Casey Jack was, it was cute though. About halfway through breakfast Casey started crying.

"Shhhh, its okay" Jack said rubbing her back

"Jack i think you need to burp her" Sophies mom said

"How?" Jack said

"I'll show you" she said and instructed Jack on what to do

"Mkay i got this. There is that better Casey, yeah it is i can- ahhhh!" Jack said but freaked out because Casey threw up on his plate of food

"Ewww" Sophie and her mom said

"Im done" i said pushing my plate away

"What do i do?!" Jack said

"Here i'll clean her up you just...get rid of that plate" Sophie said taking Casey from Jack and went to clean her up

"Dude i'll pay you 50 dollars if you eat the puke" Jack said

"No" i said

Later that day Sophie and her mom went out leaving me and Jack alone with the babys. We called up Rian and Zack to come hangout, They both agreed to come over. A little while after they arrive we were all lying on the floor playing with the babys.

"So wait!, did she really puke?!" Rian asked

"Mhmm, it was gross at the time but now its funny" i said

"Totally is" Zack said watching as Micah was sucking on his finger

"Wow look at that, your finger is covered in drool" Jack said

"Hes a big drooler, the other night Sophie was lying down on the couch with him on her chest and she wasnt paying attention and he just drooled all down her neck. It was pretty nasty" i said

"Awww just like his daddy" Jack said

"Are you saying i drool?" i asked

"In your sleep you do" Jack said

"Screw you" i said and Jack rolled his eyes
