Breakfast and a Argument
The next morning i woke up to my cell phone beeping, it was a text from Melinda. I opened it and it said: Hey, wanna go have breakfast with me, Ashlee, Avery and Taylor?. I feel like us girls need to get together. Text me :). I smiled and texted back that i'd love to go, she texted me back a few minutes later with the time and place. She said to meet them at 10, it was currently 9:30. I showered fast and got dressed and left Alex a note and then left. I got to the resturaunt and Avery and Ashlee were already there.
"Hey!" i said
"Hey" they said
"Wheres Melinda and Taylor?" i asked
"Their coming, they should be here soon" Ashlee said
We ordered our drinks and got us and Melinda and Taylor some coffee. We didnt order our food since we wanted to wait for them to arrive. After waiting for about fifteen minutes Taylor arrived, not long after her Melinda did to.
"Finally everyones here, geez" i laughed
"Shut up i had to call Jack to make sure he was okay, he drunk dialed me last night and i promised him i'd call in the morning. And it took like five trys to finally get a hold of him. So give me a break!" Melinda said
"I have a kid" Taylor said
"Whatever!, lets just order. Im starving, my stomach feels like its eating itself" Ashlee said
"Cute" i said grossed out
We ordered our food and then started talking, it was so nice hanging out just us girls. We talked about how our jobs were going and just anything that came to mind. After about a half hour later our food came and Melinda brought up somthing.
"So i need your guys advice" she said
"Yeah?" we said
"Yesterday Jack asked me to move in with him" she said
"Wait was this when he drunk dialed you?" i asked and she laughed
"Nope, it was like after i left your house. He texted me" she said
"Ohhhh" i said taking a bite of my food
"Mhmm, so do you think i should do it?" she asked
"Well i mean, its really your choice" i said
"I wanna but at the same time its a big transition, im so used to having my own space. Living with someone its like hard because your two lives basically mesh. I dont no what to do" she said
"Well i say you really think hard about it because if you do it thats it, you know?. You cant go back if you change your mind" i said
"Mhmmm" she said
"But i will tell you, when i moved into a house with Alex it just made our relationship stronger. So i'd do it but like i said its your choice" i said
"Yeah" she said
After we had breakfast i went home and Melinda followed. We hung out out side since it was really hot, it had to be like 80 degrees or higher. A little while later we went back inside and Jack was over talking to Alex.
"Hey Barakat" i said
"Hello sunshine" he said and Melinda went and sat on his lap
"Feeling better babe?" she asked him
"Mhmmm" he said
"Good" she said
"Yeah, so uhmmm. About the thing i asked you yesterday, what do think?" he asked her
"Whats going on?" Alex asked
"He asked me to move in with him yesterday" Melinda said
"Oh really?" Alex said
"Yep, so what do you say?" Jack asked
"Ive thought about it hard, and uhmm. Im gonna have to say no" she said and he looked hurt
"Why?!" i said
"But out Sophie" she said
"Why, i mean you do love me right?" Jack asked
"Of course" she said
"Then what the hell?, i mean its not like its a marraige proposal. I just thought it'd be nice to live together" he said
"I know Jack but im just not ready" she said
"Why not?, like we've been together for almost two years" he said
"That does matter Jack!, i cant believe your getting mad at me for this" she said
"It just makes me feel like you dont love me" he said
"I do!, i just like having my own space. Adventually i will move in with you but not now" she said
"Whatever im out of here" he said
"Jack come on!" she said and he left
"Dont worry Jack will get over it just give him some time, hes a little sensative" Alex said
"Mhmm" Melinda sighed
A little while later Alex borrowed Melindas car to go get the twins, luckily we had tooken the car seats out before the accident so his mom had them with her. Me and Melinda stayed at home and made home-made lemonade and talked.
"Mmmm i love lemonade" i said
"Me to" she said
"So what are you gonna do about Jack?" i asked
"I dont no yet, i'll call him tomarrow" she said
"Good idea im sure he'll have cooled down by then" i said and she nodded
Poor Jack and Melinda...
