Sleepover Part 1
Melindas POV:
Later that night after i left Alex and Sophies i went home to pack. I packed some clothes and my pillow, i dont no why but i cant sleep without that pillow. I shoved the clothes in my purse with my phone and was gonna carry the pillow. I left the house and it was starting to pour. It took me ten minutes to get to Jacks, i was pretty nervous about staying the night at his house. I walked to the door and knocked, a few minutes later the door opened. It was his mom.
"Oh hi Melinda" she said
"Hi" i said
"Come on in sweety" she said, i love Jacks mom shes so sweet
"Thanks" i said walking in and i saw Jack and another girl talking
"Melinda!" Jack said hugging me
"Hi" i said
"Im so excited for this sleepover" he said
"Me to" i said
"This is my cousin Annie, shes sleeping over since shes here for a few days. Annie this is my girlfriend Melinda" Jack said introducing us to eachother
"Hey" she said
"Hey" i said
"Okay so tonight for sleeping arrangements you have the choice of either my overly comfy couch or sleep with me in my bed. Annies got the guest room" he said, i love his couch but i dont no
"Can i sleep with you?, i love your couch but i dont no if i wanna sleep on it" i said
"Sure" he said
"Dont do anything i wouldnt you two. You know what i mean, i want grandkids but not now" his mom said
"Mom!, ewww!" Jack said
"Well im just being honest" she said
"Dont worry about that mom. None of thats happening" Jack said
"Alright good, i gotta go its getting really bad out there. I love you" she said hugging Jack and kissing his cheek
"I love you to" he said
"Bye, bye Melinda and Annie" she said and and we waved and she left
"Awwww whose a mamas boy?" i said teasing Jack
"I am, and damn proud of it!" he said and i laughed and there was a huge crack and bang outside
"Ahhhh!" we all screamed
"Jack go see what happened!" i said
"Fine" he said and went outside and came back a minute later
"What was it?" Annie asked
"A tree branch broke off the tree because of the wind. And swung right into the window" he said
"Its like a damn hurricane out there" i said
"Well not really-...well basically yeah" he said
"Fantastic" i said sarcastic
"Stay off that couch just in case somthing comes flying through" he said pointing to the couch infront of the window
"Alright" i said
"Okay. Now who wants to make red velvet cupcakes!" Jack said and i laughed
"Me!" me and Annie said
We went into the kitchen to make cupcakes and i shut the shade, it was freaky outside. Annie got the cupcake pan out for when Jack finished making the batter. Later that night after they were cooked and frosted Jack made a thing of maragaritas while me and Annie picked a movie, we decided on bridesmaids. Jack came in the room with the margaritas and cups and cupcakes.
"Come here children" he said sitting on the floor and we grabbed pillows
"Yummy" i said
"Yes they are, what movie are we watching?" he asked
"Bridesmaids. Question, why do you have it?" i asked
"I saw it with Zack and Ashlee one day and it was funny" he said
"Ohhh, i agree with you there it is pretty funny" i said
We started watching the movie when it came on it was awesome, Jack was laughing the most. I think it was half real laughter and half alcohol. About a hour into the move the storm started to pick up, it was freaky but i tryed to ignore it. A while later when everyone was quiet there was a loud crash.
"What the hell was that?!" Annie said
"I dont no" i said
"Relax i think it was just the box sitting on my desk, im pretty sure i didnt shut the window i'll be back" he said getting up and going down the hall
"This storm is insane!, im freaked out" Annie said
"Yeah me to ive never seen one this bad" i said
"Yeah" she said
"I hop it calms down because-" i started but stopped as the power went out
"Ahhhh!" we both screamed
"No!, the powers out damnit!. I cant- ahhh!" we heard Jack say and then we heard a thud
"Jack?" i said
"Im good, i tripped over a shoe" he said
"Idiot" Annie laughed
"So...whose up for a sing along?" Jack said grabbing his guitar off the couch
