Elaine has always been strange. She wears strange clothes, says strange things and has a bizarre sense of humor. Even her best friend Blaise is strange. But Elaine is also strange to the scientific world. She can teleport from place to place simply by thinking of it. Yes, her life is strange but predictable: Gertrude bullies her, Elaine does strange things and the scientists watch. Life has always been this way for Elaine. But soon her powers swirl out of control, her concentration slips from her and she begins to have an overpowering sense of déjà vu. And it all happens when an even stranger boy with silver eyes moves into her compound. Can Elaine stop her powers before they consume her and the ones she love?
