You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in High School

MIKEYS POV

School was finished and I was now walking home along with Jennifer. Gerard didn't know she would be coming over so i just hoped things would be fine. He had Frank to keep him happy anyway so I didn't really see it as a problem.

Once we reached the front door we both walked in without knocking. I could hear Gerard and Frank mumbling away in the kitchen. I looked over to Jennifer with a smile.

"Just wait here, yeah? I'm going to let them know i've brought you over." I told her.

"Them?" She asked curiously unaware Frank was here too.

"Oh yeah, Frank stayed off school to check up on Gerard." I replied watching her facial expression change.

"Oh." She sighed," Why?"

"Long story. It doesnt really matter." I smiled hoping she wouldn't ask any further.

Thankfully she didn't, Instead she nodded her head and smiled. I then quickly walked into the kitchen to see Gerard and Frank laughing.

"Whats so funny?" I smiled attempting to join the conversation as they seen me walk in.

"Frankie here is a comedian!" Gerard grinned.

"Yeah, It's a hidden talent really." Frank added.

"Nice." I smiled, "I hope you guys don't mind, but I brought a friend over to work on some school work."

"Why would I mind its your house, Mikey." Frank asked laughing.

"Well, Gerard then." I replied sounding dumb.

"Sure, it's fine. What are you working on?" He replied smiling.

"My biology assignment." As I said that Gerard's face dropped instantly.

"You brought Jennifer over?" He asked confused.

"Yeah, I didn't think you would mind." I said dissapointed.

"I don't its just.." Gerards voice faded and as he looked to Frank. Frank was now eyeing us both suspiciously.

"She's let that go Gerard, don't worry." I said reassuring him.

"Ok, what have i missed?" Frank interupted us both.

I looked at Gerard to see him glaring at me. Obviously he didn't want Frank to know.

"Gerard just tell him, it wasn't like you were dating him at the time." I told him.

"Ok, now i'm really confused! Did you and Jennifer have a thing?" Frank asked turning to Gerard, he looked a little hurt.

"God no!" He quickly replied. "Not really anyway." He added. Frank furrowed his brow becoming even more confused by this.

"Look, I'm going to go see Jennifer, shes standing in the hallway on her own." I told them both, not wanting to be a part of this. They both looked at me and nodded for me to leave the room.

"You took your time." Jennifer said biting her lip as I returned , "He is ok with it, yeah?"

"Who, Gerard? Yeah, Just like I said!" I told her trying to fake a smile.

"Oh good!" She grinned obviously reassured.

We then both made our way to my bedroom like last time, only this time we got down to work.

GERARDS POV

"So, what happened between you two?" Frank asked me as Mikey left us on our own.

"She kissed me, thats it." I told him, not wanting to go into details.

"Is that it? When was this?" He inquired.

"A couple of days ago, but she got so pissed off." I replied.

"Why?"

"It's too embarrassing, Frank." I said as I began blushing at the memory.

"Let me guess, You got a boner and she freaked?" He laughed.

"What? No!" I laughed with him. "If you need to know, I might have slipped in someone else's name during the kiss."

"Oh really?" Frank smiled. "Who was that then?" His smile grew as he asked this, obviously already knowing the answer.

"Well it was you, wasn't it?" I said trying to stop myself from turning a deeper shade of red.

"Aaw, thats cute." He said as he kissed me on the cheek. "I'm flattered." He teased.

"Frank, it's not funny." I told him rolling my eyes.

"Your the one who kissed her" he informed me still smiling.

"I didn't want to." I said sternly.

"Obviously not." He replied with a wink.

"You're never going to let this go, are you?" I felt a smile curve at the edge of my lips.

"Nope," He grinned. "She knows you like me then?"

"Yeah." I comfirmed.

"Does she know we're dating?" He asked, I smiled as he said that.

"No." I told him.

"Well lets go through and check up on Mikey and her. She needs to know that your all mine." He said as he took my hand and kissed me on the lips. I quickly let go of his hand.

"No, I thought you said we were keeping this to ourselves!" I told him. I really didn't want this getting around school, as much as i loved Frank.

"She didn't tell anyone about that other thing though, plus if she's already kissed you I don't want her trying it again. She needs to know." He replied hurt.

"Frank, I understand what you mean, but she's not going to pounce on me. She knows that nothing will happen between me and her now." I told him sternly.

"Whatever." Frank sighed as he walked out of the kitchen leaving me standing on my own. Brilliant, now he was acting like a 10 year old. Sometimes Frank was too childish.
