Ch. 2

I woke up the next morning on the floor in front of the couch. Skylar was planted on top of Hailey, and they were both passed out. I turned the TV off seeing as it never got turned off last night. I walked to the kitchen, and poured a bowl of cereal, and a glass of water. When I was done, I put my dishes in the sink, and went up to my room. I looked at the clock on my nightstand to find that it was noon, making me thankful I didn't have work today. I walked into my bathroom, and took a shower.

When I got out, I dried my hair first, then straightened it, and put it back in a ponytail. I went to my closet and picked out a HIM shirt, and some denim shorts. I walked back to my bathroom and applied my makeup, using purple eye makeup to make my dark green eyes stand out, lining my eyes with black, and mascara. I put my hair down, and made it so it did it's little flip. I put on an octopus necklace and an anchor ring. I slipped on my crochet brogues I got from England last time I went on a family trip. I grabbed my phone and 'At the Mountains of Madness' by H.P. Lovecraft. I got in my car and drove to a considerably large cemetery located in dark woods. I parked outside the gates, and started walking towards the center, where there was a big opening. I had discovered this place long ago when I first moved here. There was a huge statue of an angel in the center. It was white marble, that was deteriorating, and had vines growing over it. She was standing up straight, palms pressed together, head bowed, wings spread.

I sat down in front of the statue, leaning on it, and opened up my book, continuing where I left off. This was my special place, where I would come to get away from everybody.

I was deep into my book when I heard talking. It's a public cemetery, of course, but nobody ever comes here, which is what got me. I folded the page I was on, and closed my book.

When I got up, I felt a little light headed. I had probably been here for a couple hours, and I should definitely go out and get lunch. I tried to find the source of the talking, so I could avoid it. I started walking back to my car, when I heard a "THERE SHE IS!" From behind me.

I dropped my book and ran as fast as I could. I got my keys from my pocket, and started clicking the unlock button, even though I was a good quarter mile away from my car. I was internally happy when I heard the beeping from the Vette signalling it was open. I saw my car in sight, when I tripped over one of my undone shoe laces. Blast these European shoes. I lay face down on the ground, ready for whatever was about to happen to me, even though I was squeezing my butt cheeks as tight as I could together.

"Hal?" I heard a semi-familiar voice chuckle.

"That was a good run. I needed that." Said another voice I don't think I had heard before.
"I hate you all." I said, muffled by the grass.

"You don't mean it, Hal." the familiar voice said. I connected the dots, and matched it to one of the guys I had met yesterday. The guy with the angel bites. Balz.

"I hate you, Balz. I hate you so much." I threatened again.

"Let's help you up." Said the other voice. The two boys helped me up, and I turned to see a freakishly tall guy with one side of his head shaved, dark eye makeup, complete with snakebites and a labret.

"Hi, I'm Chris." He said, smiling.

"I'm Hal." I said, brushing my clothes off. "And you're dead." I stared at Balz, imagining me tackling him. All he could do was laugh.

"Wait, where's Ricky?" Chris looked around.

"Ricky....Ricky, hey, I think I met him yesterday."

"Really?" Chris said, wide eyed. "So, you know Balz and Ricky, how do I not know you?"

"Well, I think you moved in next door to me." I shot a smile, with teeth showing. "And I have to go back and find the book I dropped." I pouted. "At the Mountains of Madness is such a masterpiece." I mumbled.

Ricky came from the direction we were heading in, and he had something in his hand.

"I believe this belongs to you?" He smiled at me, handing me my book.

"I just, I might kiss you right now." I said, hugging my book. He turned his face to the side, exposing his cheek. His eyes were closed, so I took the opportunity to walk in the other direction, with Chris and Balz following behind me.

"Hey, wait!" Ricky said, running up to us.

"So where are you going?" Balz asked me.

"I was going to go out for lunch. Do you guys want to join?" I offered, even though I was used to eating and doing things along, company is always a nice option.

"Sure, what about you guys?" Chris looked at them.

"I'm in." Ricky said.

"Only if I get to ride with Hal." He shot me a smile, and I shrugged.

"If it means that much to you." I said, as we walked to the parking lot. Their black SUV and my Vetter were the only two vehicles in the lot.

"Where should we go?" Chris said.

"Taco Bell?" I suggested, leaving the other guys dwelling on the options.
We all finally agreed on Taco Bell, so we drove to the closest one, and I turned up my HIM cd, playing Bleed Well.

"So, why were you in the cemetery?" Balz asked.

"I...I like to read there." I said, hesitantly. I liked my spot to be quiet and with nobody there.

"Oh, well, that's something Ricky would do." Balz laughed.

"Why were you guys in the cemetery?" I glanced at him from the side.

"We were just taking a drive, and I saw your sick ass car. So I thought you would be there. I wanted you to meet the guys." He admitted.

"What would you have done if it wasn't me?" I smirked.

"There aren't to many people out there with a 70 thousand dollar car that just came out this year that has a custom paint job. I was pretty sure it was you." He said. He was right, too.

We arrived at TB and we all decided to go inside instead of going in the drive through.

"Shit." I muttered, searching my pockets once we got inside.

"What?" Ricky asked.

"Nothing." I said. "I'll be right back." I went out to my car. I had left my bag at home, so I was fucked. I didn't have any money, unless I could find some in my car. I was out there searching for a good five minutes, until I noticed Ricky walking out.

"Looking for something?" He asked.

"Yeah, I left my purse at home." I huffed, coming to terms that there was no money scattered around my car.

"I'll pay for you." He offered.

"I wouldn't ask you to do that." The corner of my mouth went up, but I could only look down at the ground. This was oddly embarrassing.

"It's no problem." He insisted. "C'mon, I want to."

"No, I don't want you to." I leaned against the seat.

"Unfortunately." He was biting the nail of his thumb, "I already got you something to eat." He admitted.

"Pfft." I sighed. "Now I feel bad." I banged my head on the steering wheel, and just left it there. "I'm such a tart." I whined.

"Come on, Hali. Get up. Let's go eat." He grabbed my arm, but not with force. "I can hear your stomach."

"Fine." I puffed, and slammed my door.

Ricky opened the door for me, and sat next to me. He had gotten me three soft tacos, which was what he was eating, and a medium drink :3 I had the need to hug him at that moment.

"I would suggest going to the mall or something, but I would have to go back to the house and get my bag." I said, obviously pissed that I derped.

"We should go tomorrow." Chris said.

"We can all go in your bomb ass Vette." Balz got a happy face.

"Well, if all you boys come, I doubt there will be enough room." I frowned.

"Well, the other guys will be gone for a week or so. They went to party in Vegas." Ricky rolled his eyes.

We finished up eating, with small talk here and there, and drove back the apartments, Balz insisting that he ride with me again.

"I'm sorry, it's just that I think I get so much more hot in your car." He teased.

"I think anybody could get more hot points sitting in this car." I said, parking, and cutting of the engine.

"I want one." He said when we stepped out of the car, Chris and Ricky parking right next to us.

"Well, when your family is a bunch of rich cunts, than the options open, always." I smiled.

"Ah, fuck you." Chris said, commenting on my family being rich.

"Hey, I want you guys to come in and meet my room mates." I said, walking to my front door.

"Alright." They said, coming with me. I opened the door, and stepped aside, allowing the trio of boys come in.

"Now I just have to find them. Make yourself comfortable in the living room. Use the TV, so on, so forth. Just, just don't break anything." I sighed.

"Understandable." Ricky played, and then they went to the living room. I was about to get on the first step of the staircase when I heard Hailey and Skylar's screams coming from the living room. Next thing I knew, they came running upstairs, and I saw why they were screaming. They were only in underwear and over sized t-shirts. I couldn't help but laugh at them.

"We hate you, Halibell Drew!" Hailey yelled, and I heard the slams of their doors. I went back out to the living room, and all of the boys were sitting down on the couch, looking like they were holding in laughter.

"Well, the one in the Hello Kitty panties was Skylar. And the one in the purple panties was Hailey." I said, sitting down on the love seat.

"It was nice meeting them." Balz said, smiling, obviously happy with what he saw.

"Pervert." I said between fake coughs.

"Hey, I'm a guy. What am I supposed to do?" he shrugged.

"So, do you want to hang out or something?" I asked the guys.

"What do you have to do?" Chris asked.

"We can go to my room, and play Playstation.

"Depends on what games you have." Balz stated. I had noticed that Ricky was being awfully quiet.

"Almost every good game that's out there." I winked, getting up.

"I'm in." Balz got up, and so did the other two.
When we walked into my room, the Chris and Balz looked around approvingly, while Ricky went straight to my bookshelf.

"Do you mind if I look at some of these?" He asked.

"Not at all, as long as all of them are returned." I stared at him.

"I wouldn't steal from my new neighbor." He whined, and pouted. I looked, and Balz and Chris were playing Zombies (Black Ops) on live, which was the game that was already in. I went over to Ricky to see what he was looking at. He was looking at a notebook of my own personal poems. I couldn't help but blush as I sat down next to him, crossing my legs up on my queen sized bed.

"These are all really good." He said, not looking up.

"I'm a poet and I know it. I can make a rhyme anytime." I teased, saying the cheesiest thing that would come to mind. He let out a little chuckle.
Hailey and Skylar came in again, this time, fully dressed. Everybody looked at them, and I knew that they felt on-the-spot right now. I couldn't help but feel sorry for them.

"So um, let's pretend that you never saw that." They made an agreement.

"I don't think I can get it out of my head, sweet cheeks." Balz smiled, teasingly.

"Fuck your mother." Hailey slapped her face and dragged her hand down it.

"So I'm Skylar." She introduced herself.

"I'm Hailey." She shot a toothy smile. "HEY, WHY AREN'T YOU LISTENING?" she shouted in my direction, and I looked at Ricky, who was still reading my poems. His head shot up and he smiled. "I'm Ricky." He then went back down to reading.

Eventually, the guys called it a night, and went back to their house. We all exchanged numbers, and Skylar and Hailey got comfortable around them.

"They're really cool." Hailey was telling me, putting back a shirt she borrowed when I was about to go to bed.

"Yeah, I know." I said, taking my hair out of a ponytail.

"That one guy seemed interested in your poem book. I don't blame him, they're really good." She complimented me.

"Thanks. But it's time to get shut eye." I said, turning off the light on my nightstand.

"Goodnight." She said, flipping the light switch off.

"Night." I shouted at her.

"DUECES." Skylar yelled from her room.

"SHUT UP, BITCH." I yelled back.

..::NEXT DAY::..

I woke up the next day, and took a quick shower, avoiding getting my hair wet, so it stayed straight. I threw on skin tight denim pants and a Ramones shirt. I put on some eyeliner and blush, and put on my ring and Anchor necklace. I don't know if you've noticed. But I like Anchors.

I ran downstairs and ate a banana muffin, and put on my Dr. Martens. I had woken up at 2, so I was in a rush, to go next door. We had made plans. I grabbed my phone and bag, and went next door.

"It's about time." Balz said as he answered the door. "Hey guys, she's here, lets' go." I heard a TV being turned off, and the guys all came outside and locked up.

"So, which car are we taking?" I asked.

"Doesn't matter, we can take the SUV." Chris offered. "But we don't know where the mall is, so if you want to drive?" He said.

"Alright." I said, and he handed me the keys. I learned how to drive in a big bulky van, so maneuvering this beast around was nothing to me. When we got in the mall, we went to Hot Topic. I needed some new clothes, anyways.

All of the boys ran to the t-shirts, pointing at one in particular, and screaming yes.

"Holy shit! You guys are Motionless in White!" Some people ran up to them, and I was utterly confused.I just continued looking through the pants.

Once I saw the boys were done signing things and being crowded, I walked over to them, all the items I wanted to purchase in hand.
"What was that about?" I asked, puzzled.

"Wow, she really doesn't know. You were right, Balz." Ricky punched his arm playfully.

"Have you heard of Motionless in White?" Chris asked.

"Yeah. I have a friend that showed me some songs. Why?" I asked.

"That's us." They all smiled in sync.

"Whaaaaaatttttttttttt?" I laughed. "You guys are famous?" I kept asking questions.

"Well, not so much people know us." Ricky said, categorizing me in that group. All I could do was look down.

"I listen to mostly old rock." I said, blushing, and ashamed.

"It's okay. I'd rather you had not known. I wouldn't want a crazy fan girl neighbor." Chris said, ruffling up my hair.

"Fuck you." I chuckled, and straightened my hair out with my fingers. I purchased my items, and we all went to the food court. Ricky and Balz went for Pizza, but Chris and I went to Subway.

We all ate our food, and talked about music. I couldn't stay out late, because I had work tomorrow, and the guys were bummed, because they claimed to have wanted to hang out more. Over all, it was a fun day, I kept thinking when I was going to bed.

The ending was rushed, because I have to get off soon, so I'm sorry for that. I hoped you enjoyed it : P I just found out T.J. wasn't in Motionless anymore, and I feel like derp because he got kicked out in May. /Facepalm. This is what Hal wore the day she went to the cemetery. This is what she wore when they went to the mall.
