A knock on the door startled me, and I quietly walked to the already opened door.
"Hey." I smiled at Ryan, Dico, Raab, April, Phil, Novak, Dannielle, and Rake. They were all holding balloons, flowers, and stuffed animals.
"I got you coffee babe." Bam whispered, kissing my cheek. I took a sip and walked back over to the group of my family.
"What'd they say?" Raab asked, looking down at Katie.
"It went in her shoulder. They got the bullet out, that's why it took so long. She should be out and ready to go in a few days." He nodded and I looked at April.
"Here. I hope you don't mind. Phil and I went to your apartment and got clean clothes. Why don't you go shower, it's been a long night." I smiled, hugging her, then kissing Bam's cheek. I went into the bathroom and turned on the hot water.
I got back into the room and Katie was awake, smiling at everyone.
"Babe, maybe you should go eat something. Or go to work." Bam suggested. I sighed and shook my head. I pulled him aside and whispered to him.
"I'm not gonna let Katie sit here by herself."
"She won't be. You can't miss work, we'll take turns watching her, and keep you updated. I promise." he replied, kissing my forehead. I looked at my phone and had atleast 4 missed calls from Cathie, my boss. I sighed and walked over to Katie, sitting on the space next to her bed.
"Good morning." I smiled, putting my warm hand over her cold one.
"You have to work?" she asked, leaning back onto her pillow. I nodded in response. "Well tell everyone I said hi." she smiled. I smiled back and kissed her forehead.
"I want to be called. Every hour on the hour." I said to Bam, kissing him.
"Yes babe." he saluted, then kissed me again.
"I love you guys. Don't do anything stupid." I pointed, waving to all of them. I went home and changed, straightening my hair, then drove to the office. I walked in and looked at everyone staring at me.
"Good morning." I glared, walking to the elevator.
"Hey girl!" my friend Jessica said, smiling at me.
"Hey." I probably sounded groggy due to the 3 hours of sleep I got.
"I heard what happened."
"Hasn't everyone?" I asked, trying to smile.
"I just wanted to let you know, I'm here if you ever need me." she said, putting her hand on my shoulder. I smiled to her and the doors to the elevator opened.

"Hey, is she sleeping?" I asked Bam who had just called me.
"Well hello to you too."
"I'm sorry. Hello, how are you?"
"Good, tired." I heard him yawn on the other end.
"Good. Is she sleeping?" I asked again. He laughed.
"Yes, she is."
"Did they run any tests, give her any medication, anything?"
"Adi, she's fine. Everything's fine. Calm down, please." Bam pleaded. I sighed and smiled.
"Okay."
"I'm gonna go now, Rake's about to shit himself." I laughed, thinking he wasn't serious.
"Bro, you could always go in the bedpan if Novak doesn't get out in time." I heard in the background.
"Bam, seriously? Where's Ape?" I asked, hoping she was still there.
"Screaming in the background." he laughed. I sighed once again. "Don't worry babe, I got this." Then he hung up. I shook my head and went back to going through my papers.

"This room I was thinking instead of baige, we could do a tope kind of color." I told my client, walking into the high ceiling living room.
"I don't want it to be dark." she frowned, looking around the room.
"If we do a snow cap white for the trim and the bottoms part of the wall, including the doors, the sun will shine right through."
"Sounds good." my client smiled again and my phone vibrated in my pocket.
"Hello?" I answered.
"I'm okay, so calm down." I heard Katie said, making me smile.
"How are you feeling?" I asked, holding my finger up to my client and smiling.
"Sore, but I'm surviving. Raab's feeding me soup." I could tell she was smiling through the phone.
"Good. I'll be out of work by 7, so I'll see you then." I assured her, turning the corner and going back to the living room. I smiled again at the clients and we continued our discussion.

"I'm back." I walked into the room holding a bagel with cream cheese on it. "This is for you." I handed it to Katie. Her grin grew wide, showing her pearly white teeth.
It was only Raab in the room, and it grew awkward.
"I'm gonna go find the guys." he said, scratching the back of his neck. I raised an eyebrow and looked at Katie.
I set my purse down and looked at her. "He was about to ask me to be his girlfriend."
"Fuck, hold on I'll leave." I laughed, running to the door. I opened it and Raab turned around.
"Go back in there." I said, nudging my head towards the room. I held the door open and he looked at me with confusion. "Just go!"
I walked down the hallway and to the Cafeteria, where I knew the guys would be. Bam and Dunn were the only ones left in there. I walked in, my heel clicking against the tiled floor.
"Hey beautiful." Bam smirked after taking a bite of his sandwich. I smiled back and walked over to him, sitting on his lap.
"Hey." I kissed him and turned to Dunn. "Hey d-bag."
"What's up ad-hole." I laughed at the old nickname and turned back to Bam, kissing him again.
"When will she be released?" I asked.
"Tomorrow." he replied, kissing my arm.
"We should through a party." Dunn said, leaning back in his chair.
"Ryan, do you think she's really gonna want to party with a bullet wound?" I asked, turning towards him.
"Yes!" Bam and Dunn yelled in unison.
"No!" I shook my head.
"Defiantly, yes." my brother nodded.
"It's gonna happen." Bam nodded towards Ryan. I sighed and looked down at Bam's sandwich and tried to take a bite.
"Don't do it." Bam said, holding my arms down. I struggled but gave, looking up at Ryan.
"You're a horrible boyfriend. You won't even let her take a bite of your sandwich when she probably hasn't eaten all day."
"Can I have a bite of yours bro?" I asked as Bam tightened his grip.
He laughed and picked it up off the table. "No." Bam laughed and my wrists were out of his grasp for a millisecond.
"You wanna tussle?" Bam asked, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Bring it!" I laughed, tickling his legs. He laughed like a little girl, then tried to even it out with his regular laugh.
I couldn't help but laugh, so Bam took advantage of a new hold.
"This is incest, I can't watch it." Dunn said before leaving the cafeteria. I stood up and Bam was directly behind me. I turned and he pined my wrists to my waist. I smiled and raised an eyebrow.
"You really want to lose any kind of privilege you have?" I asked. He raised an eyebrow back at me and kissing me deeply.

"No, I'm staying here." I said, walking over to the side of her bed.
"No, you're going home. I'll be out tomorrow."

"I'm fucking serious. Leave." she was being sarcastic but I knew she wanted me to.
"Okay." I smiled, leaning down to hug her.
"I love you." she stated sweetly.
"I love you too." I rubbed her back before walking away. Bam went to Katie and gave her a hug.
"Get some." she whispered, causing Bam to laugh. I gawked at Katie and laced fingers with Bam.

"I've been running around like crazy trying to get people to come to the party tomorrow." I sighed, sitting down on the couch at my house.
"Babe, I've got that all under control. You just have to relax." Bam smiled, putting his hand on my thigh. A tingle shifted up my back and I smirked towards him, soon attaching my lips to his. Before I knew it, I was straddling him kissing up and down his neck as his hot breath hit mine.
