A Promise to Keep Until I Die

My name is Hazuki Minati. My best friend is Naruto Uzumaki. I made a promise when I was only a month old to protect him. I've been determined to keep that promise ever since. Everyone who knows me knows how protective I am of Naruto. They know I would die to protect him even if he does have the nine tails Kyuubi sealed within him. I don't care.

My family hates me because I chose Naruto over them. Every girl my age thinks I'm weird because I don't have a crush on my one time friend Sasuke Uchiha. What more do they expect? His family was slaughtered and he retreated inside himself and into a world of hate. Basically the only people who are my friends are Naruto, Shino, Kiba, Shikamaru, Chojii, and Hinata. I have a few friends in the sand village but I haven't seen them since I moved out of my parents house when I was seven.

Needless to say, my life isn't perfect but I'm happy. I miss some things that I used to have but I made a promise and I intend to keep it, no matter what.
