Love and ***

The man’s wife stared down at the envelope in her hands. Why did he have to die? Why him? She tore open the envelope and began to read the letter that told her why he had to leave she felt her heart breaking into a million pieces for the man who had loved her enough to risk his life to keep the danger from coming to her. The man who was eventually killed as he attempted to protect her from the danger he brought into her life. Then she knew he had always loved her even until death he loved her.
