Secrets in the Healing Chapter 29

They started fighting over me, so I jumped onto Adam.
“Meow.” I said, lying next to him on the couch.
“Hey!” Bill and Tommy screamed at the same time.
I jumped off the couch and in front of Bill and Tommy, and meowed again, changing back to normal.
“No fighting over the kitten. It hurts.” I said, stretching.
“Sorry.” They said at the same time, looking at the ground.
“Can you do that again?” Tommy said, looking at me with a puppy face.
“Meow.” I said, turning back into a cat, and lying down on the ground, where I was at.
“Hey!” Tommy screamed, picking me up. “No being lazy.”
“Meow, meow.” I said, trying to remind them of a concert.
“Tommy, Adam. We both have concerts soon.” Bill said, like he knew what I was talking about.
I looked at him, and he smirked.
“Meow?” I said, confused.
“Oh shit!” Adam screamed, jumping from the couch.
“Meow, meow, meow.” I said, trying to get Tommy to put me down.
Suddenly, Bill grabbed me and put me next to him on the ground, and looked at me, still smirking. I changed back to my regular self, and just stared at him.
“Wait.” I said, remembering what Bill said. “You both have concerts?”
“Yeah.” They said.
“What time?” I asked.
“Same time.” They said, catching onto why I as asking questions.
“Seems like you’re torn between 2 concerts.” Adam said, smirking.
“Either way, I won’t be able to go, since I don’t have a ticket.” I said, lying on my back.
“We could get you in for free.” All 3 said at the same time.
“Or I could just stay home.” I said, smiling.
“I don’t think so.” They said. “You have to go to one.”
“Really? You’re making me choose?” I asked, especially looking at Tommy, sitting up.
“Yup.” They said, including Tommy.
“Y’all are just bastards then. Especially you, Tommy.” I said, getting up and walking out of the house.
Why are they making me choose?! If they were real friends, they wouldn’t make me choose.
“What do you mean, Krissie?!” I heard Tommy scream.
Shit. I ran to the nearest park, and hid under a slide, turning into a black and brown cat. I walked out, and he was standing there. I hope he doesn’t recognize me. I kept walking, when Bill picked me up.
“Meow.” I said, sweetly.
“You can change colors?” He silently said.
“Meow?” I said, trying to act like a regular cat.
“Hey Tommy! Do you know whose cat this is?” Bill said, smirking.
“Nope!” He said.
“Meow, meow, meow.” I sat, trying to make him put me down.
“Alright.” He said, putting me down.
