Never Say Never

Sixty-Nine

I got up semi-early in the morning, I was awake before Randy and Sarah, that's for sure. I got showered and got dressed into this. It was fitness time for sure. I made tea and some toast and started doing yoga. I had music on as I did my little yoga session. Eventually, I was interrupted.

"What are you doing?" I asked Randy who was standing behind me

"Enjoying the view," he laughed

I shook my head and got up from my position, "We have an 11:30 appointment, we need to get ready," I told him

"But I'm hungry,"

"Okay." I rolled my eyes, "I'll make breakfast while you shower and get Sarah up and dressed, deal?"

"I guess," Randy said before giving me a kiss, "So, Becky's taking the kid?"

"Yeah, just for a few hours,"

Today, me and Randy have an appointment at the most expensive jeweler in town. We're picking out our wedding bands! I also have a dress fitting later on in the afternoon, so I'm gonna try to eat as less as possible today. Yeah, try. I made breakfast for the three of us, I only put some eggs on my plate with some fruit because I also had the toast earlier

"We're done!" Randy said as he came down dressed with Sarah ready to go

"That was fast," I said

"Well, I'm not a woman. I don't take forever to get dressed,"

"Shut up, Randal,"

Randy started to laugh, "That's it! The wedding is off!"

"Not on your life," I said as I headed upstairs to get dressed for the day. I found one of my favorite pairs of jeans and slipped them on. I grabbed a white tank top and a hoodie. I was dressed like this. I headed downstairs after doing my hair, "Have you seen my purse?"

"Uh, which one? There has to be a hundred of them lying around here"

"That's not even close! I do not have a hundred purses!" I yelled at him, "My Burberry one,"

"Your what?" Randy said with the most confused look on his face

I rolled my eyes, "The tan checkered one I had yesterday!"

"Oh! That one! It was in the living room, I think,"

I found my purse and grabbed everything I needed to put in there. We were soon ready to leave and we headed over to Becky's to drop off Sarah.

"I have a dress fitting later, wanna come with me?" I asked Becky

"Yeah, sure! We can see how much weight you gained," she teased me

"Between you and Cody, I don't know who's worse,"

"Oh please! I wish I could eat like you and still be skinny, lucky whore!"

Me and Randy looked all over the jewelery store, we had to find the perfect matching set. A set we both liked and it had to match my engagement ring. "This one," I said to Randy, eying a really nice set

"Lets look at it," Randy said, "Looks nice," The jeweler got the set out of the case so we could get a closer look at the set, we both really liked it and decided this was the one, "I wanna make a modification to my ring though,"

"What's that sir?" The man asked

"I want my wife's name engraved on the inside," Randy said

"Aw, that's so sweet!" I said as I gave him a hug

"Yeah," Randy said, "That way I won't forget which name to call you. Just look down at the ring and I'll be reminded-"

"You asshole!" I told him, I knew he was kidding, of course. He would turn something sweet into a total joke, "I want that done, too. I want my name engraved in my ring,"

He just looked at me, "So selfish! At least I was being thoughtful,"

I laughed along with him. We told the jeweler we wanted each others names engraved on the inside of our rings. I think it was a very sweet and cute idea, I love that Randy thought of it

"Hungry?" Randy asked

"Not really, can't eat until after the fitting." I said

"You can eat a little bit," Randy said, "You'll still fit in your dress,"

"Fine," I said, "Let's take some Panera Bread home,"

"Good, cause I'm hungry,"

We took food from Panera Bread home. I got a chicken salad and some soup, Randy got a sandwich. We sat in front of the TV, watching Dexter while we ate our food

"So did you write your vows yet?" I asked Randy

Randy shook his head 'no' with his mouth full of food. "No," He finally said, "Figured I'd just wing it"

"You're being extra douchey today, Randal,"

"If you call me Randal one more time!"

"RANDAL!"

He couldn't do anything about it, I knew I was getting on his nerves but it was still funny, "But, no. I haven't started yet, have you?"

"Nope. I need some time away from you to do that,"

We're not taking the traditional route at all when it comes to the vows. Instead of declaring our love for each other and that fun stuff, we're going to make a list of things we promise to do for each other during our looooooong marriage.
