A Marriage Like No Other
Chapter 4
After dropping Serena off at school, I headed off to work. I'm the owner of a local night club called "Naked."
The whole ride there the only thing I had on my mind was Serena. It's something about her. She's different
from most girls I have ever meet or been with, and I have been with many women. I would say I was a huge
playa before. I didn't won't to be tied down since I know that I would be forced to be married at 21.
When I entered the building, It was pretty much empty, minus the few cleaning people that was cleaning the
club from the party last night that Lil Wayne and Young Money had hosted. I headed straight up to my office.
I had to write a few checks for last night event and for the next few night so I can take a few days off given
me the chance to get to know my wife, maybe I could take her out for dinner, so we could get to know each
other. As I thought of Serena some more, there was a small knock on the door.
" Enter" I yelled as I look up from the check I been staring at for the last 45 minutes.
The person who entered was probably the last person I would had ever thought to be walking in to my office.
It was Valerie my ex-girlfriend.
"What are you doing here Valerie?" I hissed glaring up at her.
"I came to see you baby." She smiled slyly, as she walked over, sitting on my the edge of my desk.
"I'm not your baby so you can take yo hoe ass and leave out my office that would mean a lot to me." I said
giving her a fake smile.
"Why you acting like this? Baby you know you missed me. I have missed you" she pouted rubbing her hands
up and down my chest.
" Maybe because "My Wife" won't want me talking to a hoe like you." I said putting emphasis on "My Wife."
"Oh so your married a man now. Okay I'll leave this time Malik but this will not be the last time your see me,
Oh and tell the wifey I said congrats, she got her a keeper." She laughed with an evil grin on her face as she
exited out of my office.
"Damn what have I got myself into." I thought out loud.
I quickly finish up my business and headed to pick up Serena from school. Valerie is gonna be the death of
me. We met about five years ago. It was nothing serious she was just a fuck buddies, she help my friend and I
a while come in to a large sum of money, but after that I dropped that ass with the quickness she was a little to
clingy for my liking, but as you can see she's still on yo' boys nuts.
~Serena Point of View~
I was standing out side the school waiting on Malik to pick me up with Chelsea. After her little problem with
Brittney this morning I was finally able to tell her about my birthday and wedding day and she really wanted
to meet Malik.
" Here he come" I told her as I watched his black Range Rover pull up in front of us.
"Hi Malik." I greeted him as I got inside of the truck. "This is my best friend Chelsea."
"Nice to meet you Chelsea." Malik smiled
"Oh Rena his a cutie." Chelsea giggled
"Bye Chels, I'll call you later." I yelled to her as we pulled off.
"Your friend is a little different." Malik laughed.
"I know but that's why I love her." I responded laughing with him. Then there was that awkward silence. After
about 15 minutes I got sick and tried of listen to us breathing, so I on turned on the radio, and Lil Wayne's
"Bill Gates" started playing through the speakers and I began to rap along with the song. As I was rapping I
could feel two eyes burning a two holes into the side of my face. I turn to see Malik staring at me with his
mouth wide open.
"What? Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked blushing.
"I didn't picture a girl like you would listen to rap music." He stated, still look at me with shock writing all
over his face.
"There a lot you don't know ab"I know that why I want the you out take night give us a chance to get to know one another." He said taking
my hand in his, intertwining our fingers together.
"I would love that." I blushed.
"Then its a date." He said pulling up to the apartment complex.
"I have some business to take of, but I'll be back around eight so be ready."
"Okay." I smiled kissing his cheek then jumped out the truck.

I just got finish getting dress. I had on this red fitted strapless dress, that stop right at the knee. I was curling
my hair when there was a knock at the door.
"Who the heck could be at the door." I said to myself as I headed to the door.out me." I sighed.
