Her Smile

Infamous

"ninety-eight, ninety-nine, one hundred.” Jamie quickly mumbled out before she let a joyful yell fall past her lips as she put the last stack of cash down on the table next to the bed. It was a cheap motel that her and Johnny were staying at but it was in part so that they could lay low now that the world was looking for them.

“How much does that make?” Johnny asked her as he walked out of the room, a lit cigarette hanging limply between his lips. He had purposely gotten a room that he could smoke in, not wanting to go outside every time that either of them needed a smoke.

“That’s one hundred and forty four thousand babe.” She told him lightly as she took the cigarette out of his lips once he came closer to her and took a long drag from it. Now that they had done the job they knew that they had no financial worries, at least for now.

Johnny couldn’t but smirk as he plopped down on the bed, taking a wad of cash with him. Bringing the money to his face, he took a deep scent of it, and smirking as he threw it up, letting it fall around him.

He did not know how the heist was able to go through the way that it did and he was damn lucky that no cops had been looking for them but more then that there was no indication that the cops knew exactly who did it.

They were criminals and they both knew that much, but the world didn’t know that they were criminals and they both planned on keeping it that way. They wanted to be scotch free when they fled America because neither of them wanted any trouble at the borders.

This was the first crime that any of them had done apart from any petty crimes. Sure they had stole some food from stores and a few articles of clothing here and there. But none of those crimes ever went reported because they had learned to cover their tracks well and they never got caught.

But what they had done just earlier this morning could but them up as international criminals but more then that they could be in jail for the rest of their lives if they ever got caught.

“I like the view of a money shower.” Jamie mumbled out as she lay down next to Johnny, the money now laying all around them and she couldn’t help but smirk at the situation that they had found themselves in.

“Jamie, it’s going to be money showers from now on. I promise you that we are never going to be dead broke ever again.” He mumbled out quietly as he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her closer to his body, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

He did not know exactly how it is that they had gotten as broke and in debt as they were, but he had promised to love her and take care of her the day that they got married and with them being over sixty grand in debt, he knew that he wasn’t fulfilling his promise.

“We have to leave New York soon baby, before anyone gets on our ass.” Jamie mumbled out into his shoulder and he nodded his head, agreeing with her before he took another drag of his Marlboro red.

“We are leaving this hotel at ten o’clock, which is in one hour. We should be in Canada by about by about six in the morning and we are heading to the airport. We’ll catch a red flight to anywhere in Europe and we should be free. I just hope it works.” Johnny mumbled out against her skin and all Jamie could do was nod her head.

She loved the fact that she had so much money in her hands now but she was more then terrified about being caught. It was not the prospect that she could spend the rest of her life in prison; it was the idea that she would spend it away from Johnny.

That was the thought that had scared her so much from the crime that they had committed a few hours earlier. She didn’t care where the hell that she was, just as long as she was with Johnny.

Sitting up lightly, Jamie grabbed the remote for the television off of the counter and turned it on. Channel five news instantly came on and she couldn’t help but smirk as the news of their robbery played on the television.

”The identity of the two robbers is still unknown and police can’t find any fingerprints nor anything that could identify the gentleman and lady who had robbed chase bank in downtown Manhattan today but they are still looking. If anyone has any information on the identity of them we encourage you to call the hotline at the bottom of the screen.”

“Baby we’re infamous.” Jamie mumbled out lightly as she turned around to look at Johnny, watching him put out the cigarette in the ashtray that was right next to the bed.

He couldn’t help but chuckle at her words as he himself sat up after he had put the cigarette out. Turning to look back at Jamie, he knew that he had made the right decision when he had come up with the plan to rob the bank. He had always promised to take care of her and to make sure that she was happy.

Their marriage had been hell the past couple of months and he knew that it was in part to the debt that they had acquired. It had caused all of the arguments and the fights that they had. She had told him a few months back that she wanted a divorce and that was the last thing that he wanted or needed in his life. He knew that he had to keep her around and that he needed her in his life and if it meant having to rob a bank, then he was going to rob a fucking bank.

“We are.” He mumbled out as he ran his fingers through her hair, a smirk crawling onto his lips. “I can imagine you in a sexy version of the prison outfit. A sexy orange jumper.” He mumbled out against her lips and Jamie couldn’t but chuckle out at his words. She felt him wrap his arms around her waist and he pulled her closer to his body, allowing her to straddle his waist.

“Have that bullshit sign across my chest that will have my bad girl number and name. I think I can pull a sexy look off with that.” She mumbled out lightly and Johnny couldn’t help but chuckle at her words before he pressed a firm kiss against her lips.

“Just as long as it’s not the real thing. I don’t think I can handle knowing the fact that you are in prison.” He mumbled out lightly and Jamie simply nodded her head, letting him know that she felt the same exact way about him.

“That just means we need to flee the country as soon as we can.” She mumbled out and Johnny smirked as he looked over at the time.

He knew that they had to leave soon and that they needed to be in Canada before the sun came up but he did not care. It had been a while since they had shared the most intimate moments in their relationship and he had missed just as much as he knew that she missed it.

“We will but I need you now.” He mumbled out against her lips as he held onto her waist and changed their positions so that she was lying underneath of him on the bed. Jamie didn’t tell him anything as she simply wrapped her arms around his neck, loving the way that the money felt underneath her body and she knew that Johnny was going to do everything in his power to protect her and make sure she lived the lavish life that she had always dreamed to have.

If it meant him having to steal money, then he would do so. Johnny didn’t care what it would take to make his wife happy, the only thing that he wanted to see was the smile never disappearing Jamie’s lips and he knew that the way that he had done it was not good. But none of it mattered; the only thing that mattered to him was her smile.
