Textbook Romance

"Your words like butterflies, dance around my head..."

Max Green is bad news. Everyone who has ever spent a day around him knows that. Hell, anyone who has ever seen him charge past knows that. Max has drinking problems, commitment problems, and worst of all, drug problems. But he's in a band, so people, and fans, overlook it with ease, and that's okay, right?

Max and Ginny meet when she becomes on the merchandise girl for Max's band. Ginevra Hawthorne doesn't know what she wants in life, but she knows she can't let another soul face the same fate she witnessed as a child. So she sets out "save" Max from the addictions he'd gotten himself into. Along the way Ginny finds the piece of her that had died along with her big brother. And she finds it in the least expected place. Max Green.

". . . Your body like forbidden wine, spills out of my bed."
