What? How Can I?

...You sigh and you see the ship, Anakin and Palpatine come up to you and it lands. The body guards for the President come off of the ship. You then you see the president and youve known him through out your life. He is your father's friend and on occasions he would take you in. You did know he did something with the government but didnt know what.

"President Michael T. Kadel???" you stammer.

"Maria, it is nice to see you again. So are you surprised I am politics?" he states.

"A little, I knew you did something for the government."

"I was a Senator for my state. But the House and Senate were really pushing for you to have an army and a constant income with the other presidents you have served under. I was the one that signed the law and the amendment so that what happened to you didn't come back for your children or mutants that work for the government."

"Thank you Pr. Kadel."

"No problem. Now lets go to the parade."

"Yes of course"

You guys go to the start and you sit by him and guys just talk about USA politics before it start and you start to get side tracked.

"Side tracked, Maria?" Kadel inquires.

"Sort of, I haven't seen you in such a long time and now that I'm seven months a long I'm getting side tracked."

"I didn't want to bring that up I didn't know how you would react to it. I am worried about you though especially when you were captured."

"I'm fine from the capture and what they did to me and so are the kids."

"Do you know how many and genders?"

"I'm expecting twin that are fraternal and no I do not know their genders. I don't want to know until the day they are born."

"Have you thought of names?"

"Yes I have. I have thought of Star Naomi, Rico Juan, Silver Victor, and Rini Nicole."

"They are beautiful names. I wish you luck with them."

"Thanks, that means a lot for me. I have been getting doubts from the Older Jedi Counsel about me raising them alone."

"You'll do a fine job. Don't doubt yourself on that. And I would gladly look after them if need be."

"I have so many offers like that. Even from people I hardly know."

"No doubt they feel sorry for you. But only let people you trust with them."

"I will, Kadel. And it looks like the parade is going to start."

The parade starts for most of it you really don't have to do a whole lot but you end up nodding off but when one of the kids kick you end up waking up again. Once it is done you show the president his apartment and you are dismissed for the rest of the day because his actual translator came. You go back to Anakin and Padme's apartment and get out of what you are wearing and into more comfortable clothes. You go to the couch and your com-link beeps.

"Hello," you state into it.

"Maria, where are you?" Anakin inquires.

"At your apartment, the president's actual translator came and his bodyguards are watching over him so I really didn't need to stay with him. Why?"

"Okay, I'm coming to get you. I was hoping you were with the president?"

"Hold on why?"

"They are back after you."

"Oh. Okay."

"I'll be over as soon as I can. Get a blaster to protect yourself if they come."

"Got ya"
