"They're just Boys with Bikes" my mom says.

Elizabeth Parker thought her life would be over. Her mother decided out of the blue to move back to her home town of Charming, California the summer before senior year. Leaving her friends, her boyfriend, and her father was not something Elizabeth wanted to do. But what her mother wanted, her mother got.

Once in Charming, Elizabeth learns about who her mother was before she was born, and before her mother met her father. She is surprised to say the least. She also meets the men of SAMCRO. A local motorcycle "club" who are old friends of her mother's. At First Elizabeth wants nothing to do with the "club" or its members, but as time goes on Elizabeth learns to love them, one member more than the others.

Can Elizabeth learn to except the lifestyle her mother used to live, and accept it as her own now?
