My Tattooed Angel

I'm so sick

I suddenly wake up. It's 4:00AM and I feel really sick. I start going into a coughing fit, I better get out of here before I wake up Syn. I slowly make it to the couch. I feel all achy and everything. Why me, I ask. For five hours, I just lay on the couch watching TV. I'm to sick to do anything else. Syn walks out of the bedroom in his boxers and T-shirt, typical Syn fashion.

"You alright." Brian asks kneeling down to my level

"What do you think?" I ask.

"Well I'm guessing you sick from sleeping in the rain a couple nights ago." Brian says.

"That would be correct." I say.

"Oh shit..." Brain says.

"What?" I ask.

"We start recording for the new album today." Brian says.

"That's right...you'll have to go without me." I say.

"Not happening." Brian says.

"Brian, I'm fine...maybe not." I say trying to sit up, but failing.

"Not when your this sick. I'll just call the guys up, they'll understand." Brain says.

"Thanks Syn." I say.

"No prob." Brian says kissing my forehead.

Brian calls up the guys. He'll just record tomorrow. It's not like they'll finish the whole album today. It's going to take a month.

"Now what can I get you?"" Brian asks.

"I don't know...my body's kind of achy." I say.

"I'll be right back." Brian says.

"Should I be worried?" I ask.

"Maybe." Brian says.

For another fifteen minutes I watch TV. Now that it's later in the morning, there is some better stuff on. Brian comes back into the living room.

"Come on, I have a surprise for you." Brian says helping me up.

"It better be good. Your making me get up." I say.

"I think it'll make you feel better. At least I hope it does." Brian says opening the door to the bathroom.

"Thanks Brian." I say noticing the bathtubs filled to the brim with warm soapy water.

"Anything for my girl." Brian says.

I smile and undress myself. Brian is the best boyfriend ever. I slowly lower myself into the water, it is actually making my joints feel better. After a while, there's a knock at the door.

"It's open." I say.

"Feeling any better?" Brian asks.

"Yeah, I actually feel a bit better." I say.

"Anything I can get you? Drink, Massage...." Brain says.

"That would be nice, if you wouldn't mind." I say.

"Like I said, anything for my girl." Brian says.

"What did I do to deserve a man like you." I say.

"I don't know, must have done something right." Brain says starting to massage my shoulders.

"Must have." I say relaxing.
