"Hey, Tay?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"Ever thought about dating anyone of tour?"

"Uhh.."

Taylor and I were hanging out in the We Are The In Crowd bus just the two of us. Alex still hadn't said anything and I was starting to get even moodier. I was glad Tay was around. I loved talking with her. Not that I could talk to her about what was bothering me. But whatever. She was at least another girl to talk to. I looked at her from behind one of the seats. I was lying across some seats and she was sitting up in front of me messing with her phone.

"I don't know. Why?" She asked.

"I dunno either. I'm just having to play match maker for Jack. All he wants are big boobed blond girls. Who usually know who he is and all they want is sex."

She started laughing and it made me laugh as I thought about what I said. "Why are you playing match maker?"

"Cause he's jealous of the relationship between Alex and I. And I offered."

"That probably wasn't the smartest idea ever."

"I know. I just felt bad."

"I can see why he was jealous. You and Alex are adorable. It makes me most people jealous." I pulled myself into a sitting position and looked at her.

"Really?"

"Mhmm. It's just..I don't know. You'd have to see it from the outside."

"I see."

There was a knock on the window and both of us looked up to find Alex Deleon from The Cab grinning at us. He had on a black beanie that covered all of his hair and a plain black tee-shirt and jeans. He reminded me of Justin Timberlake and I couldn't help but smile. We opened the door for him and he climbed in.

"What's going on in here?" He asked us both.

"Nothing. Just having some girl talk." Tay said.

"Oh. Should I go?"

"No. You can stay. It's nothing too girly." I said smiling.

"Sweet. The rest of my band went off somewhere and I've really got nothing to do." He grinned at us and made himself comfortable. "What are you guys talking about?"

"Dating. Mostly about dating people on tour." Tay said checking her phone again.

"Oh."

"What are your views on it?" I asked him.

"I don't know. If it works it works. But I think if it doesn't some shit will get really screwed up. What about you?"

Tay snorted. "She's dating Alex."

He raised his eyebrow at me. "Gaskarth?"

"Yeah." I smiled.

"Huh. I was not expecting that one."

"Why not?" I said.

"I dunno. I just didn't."

"They're fucking adorable." Tay said. "You have to see it." She started typing something out on her phone and let him read it. His eyes got big and he looked from me to her. I knew she must have told him about what Alex had said the other day.

He suddenly grinned at me. "Well, I cannot wait to see it."

I rolled my eyes. "We need to focus on Jack and Tay. Not me."

"Why?"

"Because I promised Jack I would find someone for him and it's proving extremely difficult. And I just think Tay needs someone." I said.

"I do not need a man. I'm far too emotional." She said.

"Whatever. I think if you found someone it would be cute."

"I agree." Alex said.

She rolled her eyes at us and went back to checking her phone. I was assuming she was checking her twitter and probably updating them on stuff. "Oh, I love the new album by the way." I said to Alex.

"Thanks. Three years in the making. And way too much shit went down."

"I've heard. It's incredible." I smiled at him.

"Thanks. What's your favorite song?"

"It's a mix between Angel With A Shotgun, Bad, Endlessly, Her Love Is My Religion, and Living Louder." I laughed because it was almost half the album.

He laughed too. "I see."

"Favorite song to play live?"

"Well, we've only played Angel and Bad. I kind of love them both. I love when the crowd sings the songs too. It just amazes me." He said.

"You guys should be proud. It's incredible and I wouldn't change anything."

"Thanks." He smiled and I saw his cheeks go slightly pink.

We were all silent for a moment. "Tay, what are you doing?" I finally asked.

"Twitter. People like went crazy earlier." She said. Both Alex and I laughed. "What?"

"Nothing." He said. "You're so cute."

"I love you, Tay. You really are my new best friend." I said.

"You guys are so weird." We laughed at her again and she rolled her eyes.

We were silent again. But it wasn't awkward. It was just a bunch of friends not talking. Alex pulled out his phone and checked his own twitter and I decided to people watch. There were fans lined up outside the venue and I couldn't help but smile. It wasn't even noon and they were so dedicated. I felt bad for the last show on the tour. It was looking like it was going to have to be canceled because of the weather.

I was in the middle of watching a guy down the street when I recognized who it was. I couldn't believe I didn't know who it was when I first saw him. He was in normal clothes but he was easily recognizable. I sucked in my breath and saw Tay look at me from the corner of my eye. I could feel myself get jittery and shaky.

"You okay, Zooey?" She asked. I looked at her and found Alex was looking at me worried.

"Uhh..fine. I'm fine." I looked back at the person I had been watching and wanted to scream.

"You don't sound fine." Alex pointed out.

"Seriously." Tay agreed.

I stuck my hands in the pocket of my jacket to hide my shaking. This was so bad. I needed Alex. My Alex. But how was I going to get out of the van without attracting Christopher Reynolds?
