Shiver

11th grade started today. Cam is in two of my classes. She sends me secretive smiles all throughout the day, holds my hand in the hallway. It’s nice, and we don’t have to worry about my brothers. There classes are on the other side of the building. I’m starting to like school again.

So far I haven’t seen him around.

He should be a senior now. So his classes are probably nowhere near my own. Everyday afterschool I would go over Cameron’s house. We would eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and talk. Sometimes we would kiss. But it never went farther than that.

I wasn’t ready for that just then. Maybe someday.
