Our Shadows, Taller Than Our Souls.

The battle was going to happen soon,I was called to Snape's office so I went and in my head I sang 'I'm off to see the wizard,the wonderful wizard of Oz!'. I have noticed the small bump getting bigger so I used magic to conceal it during classes.I went to the statue of the bird thing, "Polyjuice." I said and the stairs formed,I went up them and knocked on the door, "Come in." a montone voice said and I walked in,I had this feeling come over me and I looked to see the spell wore off,my eyes widened and I tried to hide my stomach before Snape turned around."You wished to see me,Headmaster?" I said and he turned around and eyed me suspiciously, "Yes,Faith.I wished to talk to you seeing as how you are the only Death Eater in Hogwarts that doesn't know." he saod motioning to the chair,I sat down and folded my arms over my stomach, he raised an eyebrow at me and I smiled."Is there something you wish to tell me?" he asked and I sighed and moved my arms,the books in his hands fell to the floor."Uhm.....sorry?" I said with a smile and he sighed and rubbed his temples, "Who's is it?" he asked and I sighed, "Draco Malfoy's...."I said and Snape looked as if he was going to explode, "But,look." I said showing him my left hand,he grabbed it and his jaw fell."When did this happen?" he asked and I smiled, "At the Malfoy Manner,when I was there."I said and Snape sighed, "No wonder he wanted to send you away." he mummbled and I nodded, "I should murder that Malfoy boy." he snarled and I sighed, "Severus please don't,he loves me and I love him.See? hewants to marry me and he sent me here to protect me.He even considered sending me away when the battle happens." I said and Snaoe sighed.He moved from behind his desk andover to the window,"I suppose if he makes you happy,then I am happy." he said turning to me with a smile,I grinned and ran over to hug him."Thank you Severus." I whispered in his ear as he hugged me back,we let go and we sat down again."Now,the battle will happen tonight.I want you to be careful,Faith.I don't want to lose you." he said and I nodded. "You don't have to worry,Severus.I will be careful and I will be okay." I said and he nodded,"Now go on and prepare." he said and I nodded,I went over and kissed his cheek then left,when I got out of the office I put the charm back on and went to change from my uniform.

Everyone was called to the Great Hall,Harry has been spotted and now Snape wants to talk to us all.I changed into regular clothes and put my school cloak over it,I went in line with the other Slytherins as we followed Slughorn to the Great Hall.When we were there we all waited and my eyes flickered to every house,I spotted Kris standing next to Luna and I gasped a little,next to me Pansy Parkinson,or as Kris and I call her Pug Face Parkinson,snarled at me."What's wrong with you?" she asked and I glared at her, "I'm standing next to a cow." I said and she huffed and looked forward.Snape was talking but I zoned out waiting for something bad to happen,then Harry and the others revealed themselves and McGonaglle and Snape fought and he fled.Everyone but the Slytherins cheered,including me.Them this weird feeling came over me,I felt my head hurt,someone screamed and then the pain got worse until I felt like screaming,I fought it back and then I heard him talk.After his speech about handing Harry over Pansy pointed at him, "Well? Somebody grab him!" she yelled and Ginny grabbed Harry's arm and the DA stood with him,Kris looked at me and I shook my head lightly.It would blow my cover,then everyone started to scatter,the teachers went to put up shields and the students were going to help except any Slytherins they were sent to the Dungeons.I ran to the 7th floor and took off my cloak throwing it into the Room of Requirement,I waited for the battle to begin and when it did,it was crazy.Peolple were fighting everywhere,I fought Death Eaters which confused them all.I was running down a hallway when I saw Fred sitting up against the wall and a Death Eater over him, "No!" I yelled as a bright green light hit Fred,he slumped against the wall and I pointed my wand at the Death Eater, "Sectumsempra!" I yelled and he fell in a heap bleeding,I went over to Fred and lay him down on the floor,I bit my lip and closed his eyes and went on.There was more battleing and then I spotted Draco,he ran over and grabbed me and we went to the 7th floor with Blaise and Goyle.We were in the Room of Requirement now, "Draco,what're you-" I was saying but he covered my mouth,I heard people runnng around and Draco revealed himself and us too."I believe you have something I want,Potter." he said and Harry glanced at me, "Who's is that then?" he asked and Draco shrugged, "my mother's,it works well,but it's not the same." he said and then they fought,I moved to the side when Ron went after them and then when I saw him running back he grabbed my arm and took me with him,we were running from the fiend fire that the idiot Goyle made.I found Draco and he grabbed me as we climbed this pile of furniture,I was at the top and I saw Ron,Harry,Hermione and Kris flying around.They tried to get us but missed,they came again and I was pulled onto Kris's broom,now Kris isn't the most best flyer."Let me in front." I switched with her and I got us out of the room,when we fell out I noticed Draco was sitting a ways away from me and I sat up,there was a nasty gash near my stomach and I gasped,I watched as it healed itself and my eyes widened."That was weird." I mummbled and got up,Draco picked me up and started to run.He stopped and put my down,he kissed me and I kissed back, "You okay?" he asked looking at me and I smiled, "I'm fine." I said and he nodded,then Voldemort spoke about telling his Death Eaters to reatreat so we could collect the dead with dignity,"We can't go." I said and he looked at me, "Why?" he asked and I sighed, "I was fighting Death Eaters,he won't be happy if they tell." I sad and he nodded, "I fought Death Eaters too.But people won't be happy we're here." he said and I nodded, "meet me at the top of the Astronamy Tower." I said running off,I spotted Mr.Weasley and I ran over, "Mr.Weasley,Fred is dead." I said and he nodded, "Yes,we found him." he said and I sighed, "I saw it happen,I'm so so sorry,I was too late." I said and he nodded, "it's not your fault,Faith."he said putting a hand on my shoulder and walking away.I went to the Great Hall and saw Tonks and Lupin laying next to each other,dead.I whimpered and tears filled my eyes,'ve been very emotinal lately.I went over and bent next to them,I moved their hands so that they were touching as tears poured down my face,I sniffed and kissed their cheeks.Lupin was my favorite DADA teacher has helped me alot during hard times,Tonks helped me with cheering me up when I was at Bill and Fleur's and stressing about everything.I got up and went over to the Weasley's, George spotted me and pointed at me, "You,you saw it happen." he said storming over to me,I nodded with more tears in my eyes,his lip quivered and he fell to his knees.I got down and hugged him and he climged to me,I grew close to the twins because of the DA and they were like a third family to me.Ginny came over and hugged us too accompanied by Mrs.Weasley and the rest of them,when we stopped George looked at me."I don't blame you,Faith.But you were the last to see him alive and I want to know......was he scared?" he asked with his voice faultering when he asked the question."I think he was,George.But anyone would be scared because of it but he died doing a brave and honerable thing." I said and he hugged me again, "thank you,little snake." he whispered in my ear and then he let me go and went with his family.I left to go to the Tower and when I got there I sighed standing next to Draco."So many dead peope...."I muttered and he nodded putting his arm around my waist and pulling me close,he placed a small kiss on my head and sighed."I wonder what will happen..."he said and I nodded,then I felt light headed and if Draco wasn't holding me I would've fallen.

"Will you be with me?" Harry asked and I looked around to see Sirius Black,Lupin,James and Lily Potter."Always." Lily said and I watched them disapper when Harry dropped the stone,he walked to where the Dark Lord was and he turned to him.Voldemort smiled and said something then I watched Harry Potter die.I gasped and ran over to him,I touched his chest and nothing,I saw Narcissa Malfoy come over and she leaned down near Harry's face which was hidden by her hair, "Is he alive? Draco,is he alive?" she asked and I saw Harry incline his head up a little and rest it back wherre it was.Narcissa stood up and looked at them all,and with a straight face she said, "Dead." in a small voice.The Death Eaters started to cheer and they told them to carry Harry out to the school.

When I came back Draco stared at me, "What did you see?" he asked but I shook my head and lead him outside,Voldemort was in the middle of mocking everyone."Now you put your faith,in me." he said pointing to himself."Draco!" Lucius called in a sort of hushed tone, "Draco,please come!" Narcissa sad in the same way.He glanced at me and I nodded, "Go." I whispered and he pulled me close, "They will take me away,I will come back,Faith.I swear." he said and he let me go and went over,I saw Voldemort stop him."Well done,Draco." he said hugging hm and Draco stiffened,then went to his parents.Then Harry got up and everyone started to freak out,I saw Draco and his parents running and he looked back at me and mouthed 'i love you' before his parents apparated themselves out of there.I started to cry and then,everything went black.

When I woke up I was in the Great Hall and everyone was sitting around,I sat up and I saw Hermione,I saw Kris with her parents and Hermione ran over."Faith,you're okay.It's over." she said with a smile and I nodded, I got up and her smiled fell as Harry came over."I think you should see this.Then go to the boathouse." he said handing me a vial.I went to the Pensieve in Snape's office and poured the memory in.I saw a few memories I've seen before but this is a new one.

Snape was walking to my house,he knocked on the door and my mother answered."Severus,please come in." she said and he came in."Where is she?" he asked and my mother sighed, "Severus..." she started but Snape cut her off," I demand to see my daughter! she is in your custody,however she is my my child too.Bring me to her." he said and my mother sighed, "I'm married now,after this you are not to come back.Again."she said and he nodded.They went into a babys bedroom and I walked over to the crib,I looked in and gasped.I looked at myself,as a baby.Snape's eyes filled with tears as he bent over and picked me up, "My daughter.Faith Morticia Nox Snape." he mumbled and my mother crossed her arms, "It's Blanchard,now." she said and he ignored her.He placed a kiss on my forehead and I giggled."Your daddy loves you so much,Faith." he said and then my mother said it was time for him to leave and he was hesitant but left.

I gasped when I pulled out,my father isn't my real father.Severus Snape is my father.I remember what Harry said and ran to the boathouse,the door was blown off and I walked in,I let out a scream with what I saw.Snape lay dead on the floor covered in blood.I went over and cried my eyes out onto his chest,I clung to his body as I sobbed.I felt someone tugging on my arm and looked to see Harry and Kris sat in the doorway with tears running down her face."Leave me alone!" I yelled and started to hti Harry,he took my blows."Faith,stop it!" he said and I kept yelling at him, "Leave me and my dad ALONE!"I yelled and then gave up,I fell into Harry's arm sobbing."I just find out,and now he's dead." I whspered and Harry rubbed my back,Kris came over and hugged me too as I cried.

Hogwarts was rebuilt and it was about 5 months after the battle.My stomach was huge and I was 6 months along now,everyone was looking for the Malfoys.I kept hoping I would get a vision and Kris tried multile times to get into one of their minds.Snape's funeral was sad and it was hard for me to make a speech so I sang a song,I sand 'Helena' by My Chemical Romance and then 'Sleep' also by My Chemical Romance.I got everything Snape owned and I remeber the day I saw my mother.

She came to see how I was because of the battle.Needles to say when she saw me pregnant she was nothing but angry."How could you be stupid enought to get pregnant?!" she yelled and I put my hands on my hips, "you were." I said and she scoffed,"Your father and I planned to have you."she said and I glared at her."That man that sleeps in your bed currently is NOT my father.I know my father is Severus Snape." I said and she froze, "how did you know?" she asked and I shook my head, "Not important." I said and she got angry,"I never told you because I thought it would be better for you!" she yelled, "Better for me?! I've been living a lie! I'm a Snape and a Blanchard but I'm not a Witherwend like my step dad is!" I yelled at her, she froze and I got close to her."I want nothing to do with you.You stay away from me,you stay away from my fiance and you stay the hell away from my kid!" I yelled and apparated out.

I never spoke to her since and I had Ron and Harry get my things from her house.I bought a house,a nice big one.It had a big backyard with a flower garden that has a fountain in it and trees and there was a pool too.I had a room for Draco and I when he comes back,a few guest rooms and I was working on a room for my baby boy.Yea,I was right.It's a boy! I was about to paint his room when there was a knock on the door.I opened it to see Ron and Hermione and Kris and Harry, "Hey guys!" I said and they came in and we had the hugging fest."So why the clothes?" Ron asked and I smiled, "I'm working on the baby's room." I said and Harry shook his head, "you shouldn't paint while having a baby." He said and I snorted, "it's fine." I said and Hermione sighed, "No,it's not.The fumes aren't good." she said and everyone nodded."Harry and I will paint the room,while you girls chat." Ron said and I told them where the room was.They left and we all sat down to talk, " I love the house,Faith." Kris said and I smiled,"thank you,dad's money helped." I said and they knew I was refering to Snape."So how's he doing?" Kris asked with a grin and I smiled, "He's doing good,but I'd like to fit in my old clothes one day." I said and they laughed."It's okay,you will in 4 months." Hermione said and I groaned."We're having a party tonight,wanna come?" Kris asked and I raised an eyebrow, "why?" I asked and she shrugged, "Bridal shower." she said and I nodded, "Fine,I'll come." I said and they smiled,we started to talk again and soon the painting was done and they all left to get ready.I showered and then changed into this floral dress and some flats because wearing heels while prego,not recomended.It hurts like hell.When I was ready I went to Kris and Harry's house.The guys were out of course so it was all girls which is Luna,Kris,Hermione,Ginny and Mrs.Weasley.When I got there everyone said hello and Molly didn't leave my side the entire night,I got her fancy underwear,you should've seen her face when she opened it.I went home later and changed into pjs and snuggled into my bed hoping one day Draco will be beside me.

I saw Draco walking down the halls of the Ministry,he looked a wreck.His hair was a bit long and it looked dirty and untidy.He was paler than normal and he had bags under his eyes.He glanced at the guard walking with him, I just want to go and marry Faith,raise my child and have a happy life.But I'm stuck in Azkaban and now I'm going to court.Oh Marlin,help me. he thought and then,I woke up gasping for air,I had a vision in my sleep.I got up and went to go drink some water,it was about 8 AM so I had coffee instead.The Prophet came and I paid for it and then on the front page,was Draco.I read the article and it said that hm and his family were found and only his father and him were being trialed,Narcissa was let go.The trial would be held in 2 months.They cought them this morning,I had to tell Kris and the others,maybe Harry can get us in.He became an Dark Wizard catcher because of what he did and he didn't want to be Minister of Magic so yea.I called Kris,who was asleep and told her,after we hung up I couldn't sleep again so I watched tv.
