A Secret to Be Kept
Chapter Two
*Mikey's POV*
As I made my way down the stairs I saw Gerard pacing back and forth in the kitchen. I just ignored him and grabbed some cereal. I was in no mood to deal with Gerard’s problems, seeing he always had something wrong with him. I opened the cabinet and got out a blue plastic bowl and grabbed some 1% milk. I poured the box of Lucky Charms into the bowl, and as I was pouring it a little toy fell out. I grabbed the toy from the bowl and put it in Bob’s coffee. I finished pouring the milk into the bowl, and started to eat.
“Mikey I need to talk to someone.” Said Gerard
“Gerard, I’m really not in the-“before I could even finish my sentence Gerard interrupted
“Mikey the studio just called and told me that someone just robbed them. One of the things they took was our CD. Our only copy” said Gerard with tears in his eyes
All that I could think was damn it. Now the CD is gone we are going to have to start all over again. Even after I just thought we were finally going to be done! I could see Gerard needed me though and I hugged him to comfort him.
I told him “Everything is going to be all right”
