All I could think about
This could possibly be the last time she saw him and that thought alone made her feel so helpless. Each deployment was just as hard as the previous one. Their time together was never long enough and the days always flew by quicker than either of them expected. And each time she let him go, she regretted leaving her most intimate thoughts unsaid.
