I sat on the porch and looked around, tonight couldn't be any worse. Mom and dad were in the house when I heard a truck coming up the road, I smiled when I realized it was Tommy. He stopped and I ran over and got in, kissing his quickly, "Let's go."

He pulled out his highschool ring, and I smiled and nodded, he slid it on my finger, "It'll have to do, until I can buy a wedding band." I smiled and kissed him, "Tommy, I should get home. Daddy will be up waitin for me."
