"Are you sure I’ll be able to just go in like that without a ticket Jase?"
"Oh for crying out loud Sabrina I already said yes. I'll just put you on the guest list. Now chill and hurry up and get your butt down here. I haven't seen you in ages."
I giggled. "Fine I’ll be there soon. Hey can I just ask you one more thing?"
"Look if it’s about Jack don't worry he doesn't know you're coming."
I smiled. "Alright thanks Jase."
With that said I hung up on my friend, Jasey (yes like the song). She called me up yesterday telling me that she was gonna be in Houston on the Dirty Work Tour and was inviting me to go since it's been forever since we last hung out. Reason why she's on the tour is because she's dating Zack Merrick.
I remember that same day we had met all of ATL. We were at local bar when suddenly they came in. Jasey instantly flirted with Zack when they made eye contact. I on the other hand was beyond shy when Jack began talking to me but as time went out I opened up a bit more. That night we exchanged numbers and everything. I thought for sure that maybe I had a chance with him since he'd always tell me he missed me but when tabloids everywhere began saying that he was dating Holly Madison, I lost hope in that. After that, I just stopped talking to Jack. I felt like he just led me on and messed with my emotions. I truly believed that maybe Jack was in love with me but I guess not.
I sighed deeply and began getting ready for the show. I took a shower, threw on a pair of black skinny jeans, a purple v-neck, and black converse. I also styled my hair and did my makeup. Once I decided I was finally ready, I grabbed my car keys and head to the venue. On the drive there, I couldn't help but think about Jack. 'Damnit Barakat! Why must you make so hard to forget?' I truly felt my heart fighting the urge to shatter into a million pieces.
As I finally pulled up to the House of Blues, where All Time Low was gonna perform, I saw a huge line outside. I parked my car and stepped out once it was off. I pulled out my phone from my pocket and dialed Jase's number. She didn't answer. I took a deep breath in and made my way to the front of the line. 'Here goes nothing.' People looked at me weird and some even glared as if saying 'What the fuck is this bitch doing?' Seriously, like I didn't feel bad enough people.
"Hey there."
The bouncer at the door looked at me with a stern face. "May I help you?"
His voice was rather creepy in a way but I tried not to show fear. I had a feeling he could probably smell it off me anyway. "Um uh I was told by my friend that I was gonna be on the guest list for the show."
"May I ask who this friend is?"
"She's part of the tour, her name is Jasey."
"And your name?"
"Sabrina."
He checked the clipboard he had in his hand and flipped through some pages. He then shook his head and looked back at me. "I'm sorry miss but I don't see your name on here."
As he was saying that, Vinny Vegas came out of the venue and instantly saw me. "Brina, what's up girl?"
He walked over and gave me a hug. Vinny then looked at the bouncer and patted him on the shoulder. "She's cool dude, she's a friend of the band." The bouncer nodded and Vinny took me back towards the buses.
"So how have you been?"
I looked at him and tried to smile. "I've been good. Just livin life is all."
He looked at me weird and shook his head. "You're lying."
"N-no I’m not."
Vinny just shrugged and sighed. "Whatever you say Brina."
I figured Vinny would sense something wrong. He's my best friend; he can read me like an open book. I continued to follow him until we stopped in front of a bus. "Wait here." I did as I was told and waited while Vinny went inside the bus. Seconds later, I saw the bus door open and out came Jasey.
"BRINA!!!!!!"
She tackled me with a hug almost knocking me down. Jase then let go and smiled. Vinny then came out of the bus, followed by Zack and Matt Flyzik.
"Hey there Sabrina." Matt said coming over and hugging me. When he let me go, Zack hugged me right after.
"Jase mentioned you were coming. Did you manage to get in alright?"
I looked away from Zack and glared at Jasey. "No seems like someone forgot to put my name on the guest list."
Everyone then looked at Jasey. "I'm sorry, I forgot! Things happened that completely made me space." She looked over at Zack and glared at him while he just playfully smiled.
I shook my head and hugged her. "It’s ok Jase. I'm just messing with you. I'll just blame your boyfriend."
"Hey!"
Everyone looked at Zack and laughed. We chatted for a while until Matt and Vinny were radioed to prepare for the fans but before Matt walked off he handed me a 'Crew Pass'. Zack also had to go and do a few meet and greets along with the rest of the band. This gave me and Jasey some alone time to catch up. She took me onto the bus and we sat down in the lounge. I asked her how things were going on tour, how the guys were, stuff like that really. During our conversation, the bus door opened and in came in the man I was trying to avoid.
"Jack..."
He just stood there and looked at me for a few seconds until he walked out without a word. I sighed deeply and felt this urge to want to cry.
"Sabrina, you ok?"
I just sat there looking down at my feet. "Damnit..."
"Brina..."
"I knew I shouldn't have come. That would've been the best way to avoid him at all cost."
"Sabrina, there's something you should know..."
"Jase if you're gonna tell me that I'll find someone better, you're wrong. I've tried but my heart just won't give up on Jack, even if he is with that ex-playboy."
Without another word, I got up from my seat and headed to the bus door. When I opened it, Jack was on the other side. He looked at me and weakly smiled. "Hey."
I just rolled my eyes and walked past him and towards the venue. Just looking at him hurt me so much.
I made my way towards the side of the stage a chilled next to Danny Kurily as Hey Monday, followed by Yellowcard. As I watched both bands play and talked to Danny, my mind cleared up a bit. Before I knew it, it was All Time Low's turn to go on. I walked off the side of the stage but was stopped my both Jasey and Vinny.
"Where do you think you're going?" Vinny asked, crossing his arms across his chest.
"I'm leaving."
Jasey shook her head and pointed back to the stage. "Oh no you're not; now get your butt back on the stage."
I rolled my eyes and went back to the stage. I really didn't want to get into a full-on discussion. I found myself on the side stage with Jasey and Vinny standing close behind. The guys had just finished up with 'Time Bomb', when Alex then spoke to the crowd.
"Houston, Texas! Look at all you sexy mother fuckers! So we're All Time Low, thanks to all you good looking people for coming out to see us not so good looking people. Before we go straight into our next song, Jack has a few words."
I looked back at Jasey and Vinny who just told me to face forward. I turned back around and looked at Jack as he spoke to everyone.
"Hey SEXas! So I've got a story to tell you all. Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jack who met this wonderful girl. They instantly connected and became good friends. As time went on, Jack's feelings for her changed in a good way but one day he hooked up with someone who was a huge mistake. After realizing what he did, Jack knew he lost this wonderful girl for good and that broke his heart. You see Jack is madly in love with this girl but is too much of a fucking coward to tell her. Today though when his best friend Zack told him that she was here, Jack about had a heart attack. He headed to the bus and saw her sitting there talking to Zack's lady. Jack didn't know what to say so he just left without saying a word. He stood outside to find out what to say but suddenly the door opened and she came out, walking right passed him without saying a word."
The crowd then awed. I looked back at Jasey and Vinny. They just smiled at me. I looked back towards the stage and saw that Jack was looking straight at me.
"I may not have known what to say before but I think with this song, everything will be heard loud and clear."
Suddenly, All Time Low jumped into their next song, a song I knew by heart.

The crowd cheered so loud for Jack. I couldn't help but cry. I felt a hand on my shoulder, so looked back and saw Vinny smile. "Go."

"Brina I’m truly sorry about what happened can...."

I pressed my lips against his to keep him from talking any further. I heard cheers and whistles coming from around but very faintly. I didn't care who watched or who ended up hating me at that point. All that mattered to me at that moment was to never let Jack out of my life again. This is the man I wanted to fall so in love with, him and no one else.
