Goodbye - Part 1

The day had come. The last day before tour. I needed to distract myself, so I spent the morning with Dakota being girly and stuff. I had some spare money, so I took her to the spa for a facial treatment, which was quite expensive. Despite the price, the treatment was two hours long, and since the boys were packing up the stuff and we had nothing else to do, I thought Dakota deserved some love from me. Plus, she buys me things all the time.

"Oh, God, this is like heaven." Dakota said. Two women were giving us a massage.

"Indeed." I was almost asleep. It really was like heaven.

An hour later, we stopped by a café and had something to drink. We talked about how we were going to miss the boys, and she also gave me some tips on How Not To Miss John So Bad since it was the first time for me.

"So, what are you doing until 5?"

"I guess I'll just chill at home." She said.

"Do you wanna come to my brother's?"

"Sure. It's been a long time since I last saw him!"

We drove to another place before stopping by my brother's as we needed food to take away. We'd have lunch in on our way there.

We weren't for long enough at my brother's as I'd like to. He talked to us about his girlfriend and we talked about ours. He made me promise him I'd visit him when John was back, so I promised. I also offered him two tickets for the Arizona date; it was a good plan for a date with his girlfriend and he'd be able to see John beforehand visiting him.

You've changed a lot Dakota. Yeah, you too Jaime. And laughs. I remembered James and Dakota got along really well before, when we all lived in New York. The exchanged phone numbers; they lost contact some years ago. I secretly think Dakota liked my brother when we were younger. As much as I'd love them two to be a couple, I wouldn't let it happen - even though I knew it would never happen, they both have partners. And Garrett is perfect for Dakota. He is like a brother to me. I shook those thoughts out of my mind and ate some pastries. My brother always has pastries in his kitchen.

We left and drove home to get ready for the party/goodbye/thing.

"What do you wear for these kind of events?" I asked Dakota. I really didn't know if it was good to wear just jeans or I needed to wear a dress.

"Whatever you want. It's nothing formal, I guess. But I have to warn you, there will be some slutty-dressed girls." She chuckled.

"Oh, hm, good to know. Thanks." I chose to wear skinny jeans, a white T-Shirt, a gray cardigan and a pair of white Chucks. I put my hair in a bun and I was ready to go.

"Oh em gee, Jessie, let me put some red lipstick on you. You'll look fab!" Dakota loves to act dramatically, which often makes me laugh. So just for the sake of that, I didn't say no.

John kissed me when we arrived and some other boys greeted us. I talked to him for a little, but not for very long. Dakota was right, there were some slutty-dressed girls in the house. I grabbed a Coca Cola because I don't really like beer and that was the only other drink there was to choose. I could see Halvo somewhere, so I waved and walked towards him. He was chatting with Austin and some other girl, which fortunately, was not provocatively dressed.

"This is Helena. Helena, this is Jess." Halvo introduced us to each other.

"Hi, nice to meet you." She said smiling. Helena had shoulder length, brown, straight hair and big green eyes. She was a bit shorter than me and she was really nice, which is what counts after all. Four of us chatted for about 15 minutes before Halvo took her to dance. I have to add that Halvo dances really awkwardly.

Austin and I kept talking.

"So, you said you liked my music? Before even meeting John?"

"Yeah." I shyly said.

"Great! Favorite song?"

"It may sound mainstream, but I Like The Ones is my favorite." I was not going to say that to him, but his voice was sexy while singing and talking, and I was certain he would even sound sexy while screaming like a madman.

"Yeah, I can see why." He winked at me.

"Don't be a sassy-ass." I chuckled.

---

"You like beer a lot, don't you." I said to John, smiling, his hands on my hips.

"Yeah. Nearly as much as I like you." He kissed me. I chuckled.

"I'm going to miss you so bad." I said resting my head on his chest.

"Me too, Jessie." He kissed me on the head.

Someone brought hamburgers and everyone ran to grab one or two before there were gone. They weren't the best hamburgers I had ever ate, but hey, it was free food. After having dinner around 9 pm I chatted with Jared for a while. I didn't really had the opportunity to talk to him very often, and what a shame it was, he was really really nice. Talking to him, the time passed so quickly to me that it was almost 10.30 when we parted ways - I had to go to the bathroom and he had to go grab another beer.

When I came back from the bathroom, I was paralyzed. I literally could not believe what I was seeing.
