Save your heart.

Feel the temperature rising.

"You still have make up all over your face." John said in his morning voice. I just loved waking up next to John.

"You do too." The after party might have been steamy for the two of us. "Let's just rub it some more." He kissed me passionately and then laughed.

"I wish I could have you for breakfast instead of my cereal." I pulled a sexy face. Well, I tried to.

"Want a quickie?" He winked. I responded kissing him in the mouth, tracing his lips with my tongue.

"That is the best way to start a morning." I said jumping on his back.

"The best." He smiled and went downstairs. I was kinda light comparing to him, so I always assumed I wasn't that heavy to carry.

"What are you doing today?" I asked him, pouring cereal in two bowls, then pouring milk.

"I don't know. My mom wants me to run some errands, though. She says I need to help at home." He ran his hand through his hair.

"Of course you do." I giggled. "I can help you." I offered myself.

"Right. We have to drive to my house, though. You might get to know a new member of my family today, who knows." He laughed and placed both bowls in the kitchen table.

"I'm nervous already." I said giggling nervously. "Meeting your mom was way better than I expected." I smiled, handing him a spoon and taking a seat.

"I'll be there to protect you from them eating you, don't worry."

"Ha-ha, very funny." I started eating my cereal. "But yeah, I don't think it'll be that bad."

"It won't." He said.

We headed to his house, and only his mom; Jenny, was there. She was really nice, again. A thought crossed my mind: "I wish she was my mom." I really missed having a mother figure in my life. Apparently, John had told her (and the rest of the family) about my parental situation, and she said to be that "I could go talk to her whenever I needed to". She actually gave me her number. I was eager to getting to know her more. She could be like a mother to me; not like an actual mother, but a woman that I can trust and love and know that she cares about me. I got easily attached to people, and I already knew I was going to love her more as the time passed by.

I drove to the supermarket, and John and I bought some fruits and vegetables. Shared a couple of kisses in the organic food aisle. Bought some more things Jenny wanted us to buy, and drove back home. On our way to the O'Callaghan's house, we stopped at a Ben & Jerry's since John told me his mother loved it. I bought 3 different flavoured ice cream and gave them all to Jenny. I bought her favorite, with the help of John, and then a couple more I thought his father and siblings would like. She thanked us and invited me to stay for a while. I told her about Horsedog Bacon and Lucky. Then I remembered I had to go walk Lucky, so I left and did so. I had a interesting encounter on my way to the park.

"Kennedy?" I tapped him in the shoulder.

"Jess?" He said after turning around. "Hi! I didn't know you had a dog!"

"Well, I do." I giggled. "He's Lucky. Not actually lucky. I mean, his name is Lucky."

"Oh." He laughed a little. He was walking a big black dog. He told me his name, but I cannot remember it. We walked them together.

"I heard you're going on tour soon?"

"Yeah."

"We can walk our dogs together until you leave..."

"We're leaving in a couple of months, so yeah. I guess we could do that." He smiled. I wondered if he had a girlfriend; he was a nice handsome guy. I bet he did.

"Alright."

"I don't walk him every day, actually." We decided to walk the dogs together on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 1 pm. He was a really nice guy and I was glad I came across him. I'd have the chance to get to him now that we were going to spend quite some time together. Garrett and Pat were the ones I had a better relation. I had talked to Jared more than I had talked to Kennedy in the past, so yeah, this would be perfect. Within two days of walking our dogs together, I already knew that he was single and had a band before The Maine, called Last Call For Camden. Member or another band from Arizona called The Summer Set were in that band also. And he was the singer. He was talkative once you got to know him more, which was a bonus. I liked talkative people. I liked Kennedy. No in a couple love way, and not in a brotherly way, but I liked him. He was really transparent; his eyes were the eyes of a honest man.
