Save your heart.

Someone I'll always laugh with, even at my worst, I'm best with you.

I looked to the calendar. Countdown to my brother's wedding: a week.

Holy crap I was nervous. Days passed in a blink of an eye.

Countdown to my brother's wedding: a day.

Holy crap I was nervous.

We had rehearsed everything and the ceremony should all go well. I could not imagine how hysteric my brother and Katie would be - but mostly Katie. It felt like it was that same morning when they told me they were getting married. Geez, time flies.

John spent the night at my house because we had to wake up early and because it was much easier for him.

The alarm went off that morning like, 5 minutes after I fell asleep. Also, I was not used to waking up this early. I groaned.

"Good morning." I turned to John and kissed him. "Lucky charms?" I said on my way out.

"Yeah." I heard him say when I was already downstairs. Man, this boy was s l o w.

I could hear Dakota and Garrett talking too.

"Dakota, Garrett, coffee?" I said kinda loud.

"Yes please." Dakota shouted back.

"A teleporting machine too, please." I heard Garrett say. I laughed.

"Shut up!" I heard Dakota say giggling.

I prepared everything at lightning speed and I ran upstairs to my room.

"Breakfast's ready." I told John. He was looking at himself in the mirror. I hugged him from behind.

"Don't you think I'm too skinny?" He asked.

"What? No! You're fine." I gave him a little kiss on his back. I loved that I could feel the warmth in his body. "Now let's go have breakfast." I grabbed his hand and walked downstairs.

"You look hella fine in that dress." said John. It weirded me out the 'hella fine' part because I had never heard him say that lingo, which made me laugh a little. I also blushed a bit.

"Thanks." I smiled. "You also look quite sexy yourself, mister." Men in suits just look ten times better. So he was looking ten times better. As if that was even possible.

I did my make up and put my hair in a pony tail - I actually looked at tutorial in YouTube and everything and I can say my hair was looking rather great. I didn't want any fancy look so I didn't bother calling a hair dresser. I covered the elastic with my own hair and popped a hair pin in. Done. It was probably pretty casual, but I honestly didn't feel like doing anything else to my hair. I so badly wanted to wear red lipstick, but I convinced myself that I was going to a wedding and it was not the most appropriate thing, so I didn't. I still wore red, though. It was a lip stain, which was much less settle and obvious, so I gave it a pass. We were ready on time so we went downstairs. I stole some of John's cologne because I just loved it. Men cologne is the best. Heaven in a bottle.

We waited a couple of minutes for Dakota and Garrett, who were looking dashing.

"We all look phenomenal don't we." Dakota said giggling.

"We actually do." I answered her. "I've never seen you that pretty, Garrett." We walked out of the house and Dakota locked the door.

"Well, Jess, thank you for that, but that makes me worry about what vision you have of me the rest of the days." He did some weird face.

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that! You look a bit like a beggar most days, but I still love you." I knew that wouldn't feel like and insult to him, so I didn't worry about calling him beggar. I wouldn't say that to another person, though. There's just some things you can tell some people and you know they won't hurt them.

"That alleviates me!" He said unlocking his car door.

"You're in my Top 5 people I love, Garrett!" I said pointing at him before getting into John's car.
