"You Can't Stay a Saint in This City"

Sequel to Lost In Pacific Time reading that will help you understand the characters and their situations better. It's recommended but it isn't essential.

Amber is back in Los Angeles, which to her means work. Her debut collection with Saks Fifth Avenue is about to hit the stores and she has not one but two shows on Bravo under her name. Her original show: Decking Out Tinseltown with Ambrosia Li is back on the airwaves after a three week hiatus. And in an effort to fill the empty space in her new renovated office, Ambrosia Li Designs: Help Wanted is in production.

Amber’s next door neighbours the Hendersons have moved away, leaving the house beside Amber’s vacant. The house is sold by the time Amber comes back from Vancouver but several weeks in and Amber has yet to meet her neighbour. By September her neighbour has finally decided to show his face and Amber realizes she would’ve left that stone unturned. Amber’s new neighbour isn’t exactly the sympathetic gal pal she was looking to listen to her pour her soul out. But maybe he’s exactly what she needs: someone who’s brutally honest. The more Amber talks the more she realizes that behind those cutting remarks is someone who’s actually a pretty good listener.

Meanwhile Milan is in Boston and aside from the occasional phone call she has no idea what is going on with him. When she comes to Boston for a surprise visit, she could come face to face with a deal breaker.
