Young Nights
Dawn was in her room, reading her favorite book, when the phone rang. “Riiiinnnnggggg”.
Dawn was home alone because her mom and dad went to celebrate her dad’s birthday. Dawn picked up the phone and answered “Hello?”
a creepy voice said, “The nights are young, I wanna have some fun. You are alone, you’ve picked up the phone. Death
has answered, your life is cancelled. I see you and I’ll tell you what to do. Solve this riddle so the night won’t end, Or you will end up dead…” and hangs up.
Dawn ignored it, thinking it was just a prank call and went to sleep. In the middle of the night the phone rang again and she picked up. “You still haven’t solved it, now you’ll die bit by bit”, the voice said and hung
up.
Dawn went back to sleep. The phone rang and the same voice hissed “I’m in your house, but I’m quiet as a mouse.”
Dawn became very scared and locked her door. She heard something behind her and looked. But before she could move, she saw a blade of an ax slash through her head.
When her parents came home and found their daughter dead, a message on the answering machine said, “Boys and girls never take a rest, while I’m here, your next…”
