Summer Lovin'

Tori walked out of the terminal with Kim and started walking to where they would get their bags from. She was excited to finally be here and to be staying with Jimmy.

She walked over to the baggage claim and grabbed her bags, looking over at Kim. “Now we got to look around and see if we see Jimmy.”

“Gotcha!” Kim exclaimed, making Tori laugh at her friend and start looking around.

Tori finally spotted her cousin and smirked, dropping her luggage next to Kim. “I’ll be right back,” she said before taking off full speed.

She ran straight forward through the path that convinetly led to Jimmy and jumped on his back, screaming. “JIMMY!”

Tori laughed when Jimmy jumped and almost fell. She hopped off his back, smiling up at him when he turned around. She really hated the height difference between them but she loved it at the same time. He was 6’3 compared to her measly 5’3.

“Oh my fucking god, Tori! Is that you?!” Jimmy exclaimed with wide eyes. “Your all grown up now!”

Tori laughed and shook her head at her cousin, her eyes widening when he pulled her in for an unexpected hug.

“I’ve fucking missed you to death,” he said to her. “It’s really been way too long.”

“I know, right? Tell me about it,” Tori said, pulling away from the hug because she knew Jimmy could keep hugging her until the end of time. That’s just the way he was.

She looked around and her eyes widened when she noticed Kim. She had totally forgotten about her.

“Oh! Jimmy! This is my best friend Kim,” Tori said, grabbing Kim by the arm and pulling her over to where they were standing.

Tori laughed as Kim smiled shyly and waved. She could tell she was shy right now and she thought it was hilarious. She had warned her ahead of time not to be shy around Jimmy.

“Oh. Hi, Kim. I’m Jimmy, the guy you’ll be living with for the summer,” Jimmy said with a grin, pulling her into a hug. He pulled away and motioned Matt towards all of the bags. “Ladies, that is my best friend, band mate, and room mate, Matt. He’ll be living with us too.”

Hi,” Matt said with a smile as he grabbed all of the bags he could and Jimmy stepped up, grabbing the rest.

Tori’s eyes widened as she looked at Jimmy’s friend Matt. He was completely gorgeous and she couldn’t believe she was going to have to live with him.

“Now, follow me out to my chariot!” Jimmy exclaimed, turning around and leading the way out of the airport.

Tori followed Jimmy and Matt out of the airport, Kim trailing next to her. She couldn’t stop staring at Matt until she heard Kim start speaking.

“How come you didn’t warn me that your cousin Jimmy is completely gorgeous?” Kim whispered to Tori.

Tori couldn’t help but laugh at her best friend. She couldn’t believe she thought Jimmy is gorgeous. “Maybe because he’s my cousin and I don’t think of him that way,” she said with a smirk.

Kim laughed and shook her head. “Don’t think I don’t notice the way you keep looking at Mr. Buff and Muscular. You so totally want him.”

Tori stared at Kim with wide eyes and shook her head. “I do not want him!” she exclaimed in a whisper, pouting.

“You’re my best friend, Tori. I know when you think a guy is cute. It’s okay to tell me. I won’t tell anyone,” Kim said with a smirk as they arrived at Jimmy’s truck.

Tori noticed the way Kim looked once she noticed that the truck was Jimmy’s and shook her head, laughing. Her best friend always loved trucks.

Tori got in when Jimmy unlocked the doors and buckled up, waiting for Matt and Jimmy to get in.

Once they got in, Jimmy started the truck and pulled out of the parking space, making his way home.

Tori was nervous to be living with Jimmy for the summer now. If she was also going to have to live with Matt then her world was going to be turned upside down. She couldn’t live with a man that gorgeous. If she really did fall for him then things would be crazy. He would never want a seventeen year old, though. He was twenty two for gods sake.

Tori shook her head of those thoughts once she realized they had pulled in the driveway at Jimmy and Matt’s house. She really needed to stop thinking about Matt. She just met him.

She got out of the truck and walked up to the door with Kim, waiting for Jimmy and Matt.

Tori stepped to the side when Jimmy walked up, letting him unlock the door and go in first. She walked in after him, looking around at his house in awe. It was huge and beautiful. They had a grand staircase to the right, to the left was a living room that was decorated beautifully and there was a hallway straight ahead that she couldn’t see what was down there.

“Matt’s ex and one of our very best friends helped us decorate it,” Jimmy said with an innocent smile before him and Matt disappeared up the stairs with their bags.

Tori heard a yawn and looked over at Kim, laughing. “Someone’s got jet lag,” Tori teased.

“Yeah, actually. I do. I think I’m going to put my stuff away and go to sleep,” Kim said with a nod.

Tori nodded in agreement. “I think I am too. I’m tired and I’ll have all the time in the world to explore with you later this summer,” she said, walking up the grand staircase next to Kim.

Once they got to the top of the stairs, Tori saw Jimmy standing in the middle of the hallway, staring at them. It was really creepy.

“Okay, I’m going to tell you this once so listen good. My room is all the way at the end of the hall on the left, across from that is Kim’s room. Next to my room is the music room, don’t ever go in there without permission. Next to Kim’s room is the bathroom, then to get to yours and Matt’s room, you have to go up that extra staircase way at the end of the hall near my room. There are four rooms up there, plus a bathroom. Three of the rooms are the guest rooms for when the guys stay over and one room is Matt’s. Your room is across from Matt’s so go look for the room with the black door and your room is across from that,” he said all in one breath.

Tori stared at Jimmy with wide eyes and nodded slowly. “Okay. Look for the room with the black door, gotcha,” she mumbled, heading for the staircase.

“Night, Kim! Night, Jimmy!” Tori called before she walked up the staircase. She heard them yell goodnight back and smiled, shaking her head. Those two would totally end up together.

She started walking down the hallway, passing by the first two doors before she saw Matt’s black door. She saw her room, plus an extra door and guessed that was the bathroom.

She went into the room across from Matt’s and grinned when she found her things.

Tori put her bags on the bed and opened them before walking over and opening the top drawer to her dresser. She started putting her things away, yawing softly. She was exhausted.

She finished putting her things away after about twenty minutes and changed into the pajamas she left out for herself.

After she was done that, she put her dirty clothes in the corner then put her suitcases under her bed and turned the lights out.

She walked over and crawled into the bed, starting to think. She was excited to be staying with Jimmy but nervous because of Matt. She’s never had to live with a guy she thought was cute before. It was going to be something new for her.

She yawned again and sighed, pulling the covers over her body. She turned over and closed her eyes, thinking about how different it was going to be living here then it was back at home as she fell into a deep sleep.
