Man she spent a fortune never had reinforcement
daddy never hugged her cause her parents were divorced.
“Elaina?” A booming voice filled the house hold and the girl jumped.
“Yes,Daddy?” She whispered cowering in front of the tall male. Her dull eyes had a tinge of horror and sadness in them.
“What is this?” The man threw paper at her cowering form and she caught it swiftly. That hurt her, so much.
She glanced at the paper in horror and then back up at her father figure. “It’s your credit card bill.”
“Exactly. 2,000 dollars spent on your crap!” He boomed and the girl jumped, yelling out in pain.
The man sighed as he stared at the frightened skeleton. “Next time. Watch how much you spend.” He warned softly and the girl nodded vigorously.
Instead of hugging her goodbye, her daddy gave her an awkward pat on the back and slammed the door shut.
The girl laid on the cold tiled floor, her small body becoming even smaller. The household members watched in sadness as her tiny frame shook every few seconds.
They can’t hug her, they’re too scared too.
