Tonight I'm Loving You

"You're so damn pretty," he said with a smile.

I blushed. Despite the alcohol that'd I'd consumed, his eyes were what was making me drunk. My head pulsed to the music. The flashing lights were making me dizzy.

"You think?" I asked with a smile.

"I do," he said and kissed me.

He was just as drunk as I was, I could taste it on his breath. When he pulled away, his forehead rested against mine, his lips brushing against my own. "Tonight I'm loving you."

He did love me that night, but it wasn't for much longer after that...
