Crashing Into Nothing.

Garrett and Caydence sat on Caydence's bed as Garrett play with her guitar.
"Wait so you can play bass, drums, and guitar?"
"I can only really play bass. I just like messing around with guitar, and the drums."
"It sounds to me like you're playing guitar right now."
"Yeah this isn't playing. So you know I you've told me you can play guitar, but I've never seen you play."
"Way to change the subject Garrett." She said laughing.
"Why thank you." He said giving her a smirk that secretly melt on the inside.
"Nobody has really heard me play outside of Ansley."
"Why is that?"
"I'm not confident enough."
"Here you go. Play me something." He said handing her her guitar.
"I can't play in front of you." She said biting her lip nervously.
"Please. I'll close my eye I promise."
"Find, but you have to promise you'll close your eyes."
"I promise." He said closing his blue eyes.
She said started playing and singing lightly. "Anywhere you go, anyone you meet,

I've got too much to lose." Garrett got the biggest smile on his face as she sang.

Hold me down, and I'll carry you home." She stopped playing and bit her lip waiting for Garrett to say something.
"That was amazing. I didn't you could sing too." He said with a huge smile on his face.
"I'm not any good." She said shyly.
"Shut up you are too."
"Thank you."
"I can believe you leave tomorrow to start recording your new album."
"I know me either. I'm going to miss you Caydence."
"I'm going miss you too."
"Come let's go over to Kennedy's house."
"Why do we have to go to Kennedy's?" Caydence asked confused.
"Because he's having a party and I want to go."
"Ok." She said picking he shows off the ground.
"We don't have to go if you don't want to." Garrett said standing up.
"No I'll go. I don't want you to miss your going away party."
"It’s not really a going away party."
"I know but, let's just go." She said grabbing her purse off the ground.
"Ok. Do you mind if I invite Ansley?"
"No not at all."
Caydence walked to Ansley room, while Garrett walked into the living room.
"Knock knock." Caydence said as she entered Ansley room.
"Hey Cay what's up?"
"Where's Max?"
"He's hanging out with Trent."
"Oh, well do you want to go to a party at Kennedy's house?"
"Yeah sounds fun." She said. Grabbing her shoes of the ground.
"Ok let's go." Caydence said walking towards the hall way.
When they got to Kennedy house Caydence and Garrett walked out back where Pat was and Ansley went straight to the kitchen to make a drink.
She was pouring the Jack into her cup when she heard someone clear there throat behind her. She smiled when her eyes met a familiar pair of hazel ones.
"Well I feel like we've met like this before." Kennedy said laughing a little bit.
"Same here. Do you want a drink?"
"That would nice." He said as Ansley grabbed a red cup to make him a drink.
"Where's Max?" Kennedy asked leaning against the counter next to Ansley while she made him a drink.
"He's hanging out with Trent."
"Does he know you're here?" He asked as she handed him a drink.
"It doesn't matter he doesn't control me."
"That's good to know."
"Ansley do you want to go upstairs with me?" Kennedy asked lacing his fingers with hers.
"That's a little forward don't you think." She said smirking before taking a drink.
"Yeah I decided to take a chance."
"Well your lucky it worked." She said raising her eyebrows, and pulling Kennedy towards the stairs.

"Garrett what's going on with you and Caydence?" Pat asked while Caydence went to the bathroom.
"Nothing we're just friends."
"Have you told her you like her yet?"
"Every time I plan on telling her I lose my nerve."
"Dude you need to man up tell her."
"I know dude but I can tell her tonight and be like oh see yeah in two weeks."
"Ok then tell her when you get back."
"I'm going to."
"What are you two talking about?" Caydence asked walking up.
"About how bored I'm going to be for the next two weeks." Garrett said lying.
"I'm going to miss you guys."
"We're going to miss you too." Pat said.
"Hey Cay are you ready to go home?" Ansley said walking outside adjusting her shorts.
"Yeah if Garrett is I am."
"I'm ready." Garrett said standing up.
"Bye Caydence." Pat said pulling her into a hug.
"Bye Pat."
"I need to go say goodbye to Kennedy, I'll meet you outside." Ansley said walking inside. She found Kennedy still upstairs in his room.
"You know I forgot to say goodbye." She said walking into his room.
"Yeah you did." He said walking over to her.
"I'm going to miss you." She said as Kennedy pulled her into a hug.
"Ansley I think I'm falling in love with you." He whispered in her ear.
"Don't say that Kennedy. You know I'm with Max."
"I know that, but I can't help it."
"Bye Kennedy." She said kissing on the cheek and walking away.
When Ansley walked out front she found Garrett and Caydence leaning against Garrett's yellow car.
"Ready?" Garrett said.
"Yep." Ansley said getting into the back seat.
The second they got Ansley and Caydence's house, Caydence rushed inside.
"What do you thinks wrong with her?" Garrett asked leaning against his car.
"I don't know. I'll talk to her later."
"Caydence I'm going to miss you."
"I'm going to miss you too."
"Its only two week." Garrett said pulling her into a hug.
"Yeah it’s only two weeks."
"You should probably get home so you can get some sleep your flight leaves early."
"Yeah." Garrett said as he moved his lips closer to her lips.
Caydence felt her heart start to race as Garrett got closer.
Her breathing caught as Garrett pressed his lips to hers. It was an innocent kiss. Garrett pulled away with a smile on his face.
"I'm sorry." He said walking towards his car.
"You don't need to be." She said with a smile on her face.
"Bye Caydence, I'll text you."
"Bye Garrett." She said smiling.
She walked inside smiling as Garrett drove off. She placed two of her fingers on her lips, and smiled at the fact that Garrett’s lips were just there.
Caydence and Garrett both realized that this was going to be a long two weeks.
