L is for Lions
It took me a while to settle on what I’d base this chapter on; first I thought I’d do it on how much you made me laugh, then I thought about doing it about Laser (bless him). But I finally settled on Lions.
After the first sci-fi meeting, we all went to the pub and I can sum up everything you said to me that night. You told me how you slapped a lion in the face, and how you had a nephew who was a few months old. You clearly knew your audience.
I love how adventurous you’ve been in your life, I envy that you went to Zimbabwe and did that lion project. It must have taken real courage to leave everything you knew to go half way across the world like that. I wish that one day I can have your courage, to be fearless like that.
