2. Brainstorm

Do what your English teacher in middle school taught you all those years ago and get a piece of paper and a fancy pen. Doodle, scribble, and empty your mind from pen to paper. Circle the ideas you think you want to work best with. If you're not a plan ahead type of writer, then don't complain or sulk when your story doesn't get any readers. It's that simple.
