Liberty

Love does not claim possession,
but gives freedom.
-Tagore

Liberty Russell was what could only be called a free spirit. Where everyone else succumbs to social expectation, she flies above it. The moment life or relationships start closing in, she runs. At seventeen, she’s okay with that. Few try to chase and pursue her, but none have succeeded in capturing and taming her. Liberty is no prize to be won.

As her senior year begins, their teacher leads them through an activity. With it comes a stunning revelation. Liberty has always shunned being roped in, but she’s realizing something she had never fathomed. Suddenly, there’s someone who doesn’t want to catch her, he wants to fly with her.
