"We haven't even sorted out our relationship yet", I said.

"Well we both agreed to have a divorce", She said.

"So when are you and the kids moving out?", I asked.

"Tomorrow. I have the plane tickets and everything. I just need to pack up.", She replied.

"Where are you guys moving to?", I asked.

"Minnesota.", She simply answered.

"WHAT? Then how will I get to see the boys?" I asked.

"Just fly to Minnesota in the summer. Maybe I'll come to California a few times a year" She said.

"That's not enough time to see them." I said.

"Well...That's the way it goes." She answered and walked out of the kitchen.

I just stood there flabbergasted. Why does she have to be such a bitch?

As the day flew by Adrienne, Joey, and Jakob were all packed up and ready to go tomorrow.

I slept on the couch while a bunch of thoughts ran threw my mind. I was going to live alone.

The next day came and we all said our goodbyes. Adie and the kids took all their bags and put them in the truck of Adie's car. I looked out the window watching them leave. A few tears ran down my face.

I didn't know that my life was going to change, big time.
