Never Really Noticed Him nor Him Me

Unplanned Rescue

]It was lunch time and though Karina's stomach rumbled

she didn't feel like eathing. The first week of class had gone fine, although they were taxing.

Her favorite, Care of Magical Creatures, was the most interesting of all her classes.She

planned on becoming an Auror or a Dragon preserve warden.She was mostly tired from the

seemingly long week. McGonagle had already assigned her a load of homework on the first

day to be due on Monday!'Oh well' Kari thought I can at least get in a nap before I start on all

this.She plopped down on in the middle of the 7th floor corridor and was about to get started

on homework when she heard sickening crack and some cakling from just around the

corner.She threw her shoulder bag on, pulled out her wand, and silently made her way to t

he corner and peeked around it. She knew the 7th year Ravenclaw gang standing around a

form lying on the ground against the wall.She already knew they were picking on some

Slyhterin who had the misfortune of stumbling into them alone. Kari remembered enough

from 3rd year on to avoid them, seeing as their leader Campollin Fletcher had a thing for

her.Shuddering and remembering how much of a forcefull pig he was considered walking

away, but stopped.'Mabye I can do something this time'she thought 'they don't know I'm

here'. She'd decided a non-verbal spell would work. A spell she'd created herself, coupled

with an illusion charm would handle it nicely indeed.She pointed her wand to her throught,

focused on how McGanagal sounded and looked then cast the spells she

needed 'Vononeral McGanagal' 'Illumise Mcganagal'. She knew it had worked from the

moment the floating sensation began. She hurried around the corner, "What on earth?

Detention all three of you!" she said sounding as livid as she could. Fletcher and his three

friends turned and jumped. Fletcher followed by his friends turned and ran for it. Smiling

with satisfaction Karina dismissed the spells and hurried to the side of the form on the

ground. She suddered to see blood on the wall where the forms head had hit. The form

stirred then sat up a little and looked at her. Suddenly she knew who he was and wished

she'd stayed out of it. The boy was tall with pale blonde hair and ice grey eyes. Though they

had never spoken she recognized him instantly. Draco Malfoy was practically royalty to the

Slytherins, and well know for hating her own house Gryffindor. He'd changed from the last

time she took notice of him: one- he'd stopped slicking his hair back like Hidan from Naruto,

two-He was taller, three-.......Oh gods she thought he was just plain hot now.She gently

touched his cheek."Are you alright?" she asked softly.

D.M. pov

Draco Malfoy had hit the stone wall hard, and was dazed. He vaugly registered yelling and

then someone kneeling beside him. Finally Draco pulled himself up enough to look into the

face of whoever was there. SHE was stunningly bueatiful, with long black hair pulled into

pigtails with the appearance of tight little black spheres connecting her hair to her head. Her

eyes were a deep dark blue. Oh how he got lost in them.Though he could tell she was trying

to be gentle, when she touched his face and asked him something he couldn't make out

due to a sharp pain shooting throughout himself.Draco goaned and lay back down, biting

back a curse. He was in too much pain, to answer whatever she had asked.

Kari sighed pulling out her wand again."Wingardium Leviosa" she said and with a swish

and flik of her wand Malfoy beagan to hover in midair.This did not make him happy at all."Put

me down!" he managed after she'd began walking.Kari shook her head, "Not until we get to

the Hospital Wing." she said exasperated. And so Draco Malfoy was forced to bob along in

front of her all the way to the Hospital Wing.

"Madame Pomefry?" Kari called as she entered what served as an infirmary for Hogwarts

school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A tall , thin woman, dressed like a nun came out of the

office on the far side of the room. Upon seeing blood dripping to the ground she bit back

what she would've said and hurried over and directed Kari to lay him on one of the beds.

Kari set Malfoy on the nearest bed then stood back and let the fussy nurse do her work.This

was going to be a long break.

Karina's hair style is like Serena/Sailor Moon's hair style for those who have seen it but her

hair is black

Kari is the nickname Karina was given as a child
