Unexpected Places

Chapter 1

William’s P.O.V

The guys and I were in The Butcher’s basement having band practice, and we were finishing up. Amanda and Christina were coming down stairs, when we were finishing up. The Butcher of course went over to talk to Christina about who knows what. So I decided to go talk to Amanda. Everyone else had other stuff to do so they left. “So do you want to watch a movie? ”I asked.

She looked at me and smiled and said yes. I knew exactly what movie she wanted to watch, the same movie we watched all the time. “The Nightmare Before Christmas right?”

“Well duh,” she said. I couldn’t help but laugh about the look she had on her face. She is so beautiful I thought. I couldn’t help but think if she only knew.

Amanda’s P.O.V

“William do you ever get tired of watching this movie?”

“Not when I am watching it with my best friend,” he smiled.

I leaned my head on his shoulders and feel asleep.

“Amanda, Amanda wake up,” I opened my eyes and William was looking at me. “Well I got to go, my mom called me and said it was getting late.”

“Ok I will see you tomorrow,” I said. He gave me a hug and walked out the door. I walked up stairs and peeked into my brother’s room. He and Christina were both asleep. Christina always stays over on Friday nights. I went to my room and fell right to sleep.

The next morning I woke up at 9:00 and took a shower and got ready. I went downstairs and Christina was in the kitchen cooking. “Want something to eat?” she asked.

“No I’m not that hungry and plus I am going over to William’s soon,” I said.

“Speaking of William how was that movie last night?” she said with a smile on her face.

“Shut up!”

“Well everyone knows you like him more than a friend, why don’t you just tell him?”

“If I do that it might change everything.”

I got up around 9 and took a shower. I got ready and went downstairs. My mom was in the kitchen making breakfast. “So is your girlfriend coming over here today?” she said.

“Mom she is not my girlfriend she is just my best friend.”

“Well the way you look at her, and talk about her all the time it seems to me you want to more than friends with her. Amanda is a great girl she is like the daughter I never had”

“Whatever mom,” The doorbell rang and I went to go answer the door.

“Hey William”

“Hey Amanda” “Do you want something to eat my mom was just fixing breakfast?"

“Sure I really haven’t had anything to eat yet so I am pretty hungry,” she said. My mom came up to her and gave her a hug.

“So when are you guys going to get married so I can have a daughter?”

“Mom” I blushed and so did Amanda. “We are just friends!”

“Yeah we are just friends,” Amanda said.

“I changed my mind lets go get something to eat out,” I said.

“Ok,” she said. We walked outside to the car and left.
