One we got to the house I looked at my parents and said "Same room?" they both nodded and I ran upstairs to it. And I began to unpack

I heard a knock on my door and aw Jared leaning in the door frame.

"Need help?" he asked and I noticed him staring at my arm thing that holds it up I can never remember what it's called. But it isn't a cast, and trust me unpacking isn't easy to do with one arm.

I looked at him shyly and nodded "Yeah they would be helpful thanks." I smiled at him and he returned it.

"No problem Sis." it only took about 15 more minutes because I only had two duffel bags not very much.

"I need to go shopping for some new clothes." I mumbled quietly not realizing Jared could hear everything I was saying.

"So there's going to be a welcome back party for you at the beach tonight." ugh

I groaned and Jared smiled.

"Mom set this up didn't she?" he smiled and nodded.

"So if you want to go shopping for a new outfit I can take you to Port Angeles. If you want?" I smelled brightly at him.

I really actually hate strapless bras's because they slip down and never stay in the same place. But I have to ya know? If you don’t know it’s because of my shot wound.

I walked down stairs to see Jared laying on the couch watching TV.

"Hey I’m ready." He looked up and nodded.

As we began to leave the house. I notice that I forgot my purse, and wallet.

"Shit!" I whispered screamed, it was enough for Jared to hear but I didn’t want my mom to here.

"What?" He asked confused.

"I forgot my purse!" He began to laugh.

"It’s not funny my wallet is in it!" He was still laughing god he is annoying.

I glared at him until he stopped and noticed my glare and slightly shrunk back.

"Sorry" he whispered. My glare softened.
"Its cool let me go get it ill be quick. He shook his head.

"Nah I’ll pay for it. I got a job and stuff and you've already done so much." He whispered and I understood what he meant. He's sweet isn’t he?

"Jared thanks you’re the best little brother ever." I smiled as he glared.

"Five minutes. Your only five minutes older than me!" I laughed

"Okay, okay calm down, so who’s all going to be at the party?" He looked thoughtful for a moment.

"Mom and Dad, Leah and Seth Clearwater, Emily and Sam Uley, Quill Ateara, Embry Call and his mom Suzy, Sue Clearwater, Jacob and Billy Black, Paul, and Collin Littlesea and Brady Fuller." Aww I babysitted Collin and Brady when they were little. WAIT did he just say Paul? As in PAUL PAUL??

"PAUL" I screeched at him. He flinched and nodded. I felt like I was going to cry but I wasn’t going to let him or anyone else know that.

"Yeah, mom and dad invited everyone I tried to tell her not to, but as you can guess she invited him, maybe it’s because she doesn’t know what he did to you?" I nodded that was it; I never told her or my dad what happened with us. I felt more tears build up but I held them back I was never going to cry over him again. I made a promise to myself and I don’t plan on breaking it.

"Oh I don’t want to be anywhere near him ever." I whispered and he nodded understanding.

"I will do everything in my power to keep him away from you I promise." I nodded slowly.

"Uhm are yall friends?" I asked slowly and hoping and praying he would say no.

"Well were friends, I still hate him but he can say hi to me and I won’t punch him in the face." I nodded and was happy they weren’t friends. Ok so that might sound bad, but if you knew what he did to me you wouldn’t think I’m being mean or something but that story is for another time.

"Anne. Anne. ANNE!!" I snapped out of my daze and realized we were at the mall and the car was off and he was at my door.

"Sorry I was daydreaming." He smiled as if he missed it.

"Its okay, I remember when we were kids and you were always day dreaming." I smiled and laughed slightly. He hooked arm with me and we were browsing the stores.

I was sort of surprised and when I turned around and saw a girl who looked a little younger than me, she looked like the type who is very quiet and shy and nerdy. But right now if looks could kill Jared and I would be six feet under, it was like she had steam coming out of her ears. And I don’t think I have ever seen Jared so scared in my life.
