Run for Your Money

Samantha (Sam) Grande has been a loyal, hard worker of Origins, a high-earning production company of some of the most popular films of this century, for four years. Her boss, Logan LeBeau, is strict and, for the most part, up-tight when it comes to control in the company.

Sam believes in the good in everyone, and has had subtle feelings for Logan since practically the day she was hired. Logan LeBeau has been so distracted by his work, he's hardly had time to think about settling down with a girl, and doesn't pay Sam a second glance except as one of the best workers of the company (and the most reliable assistant he's ever had). In high school, everyone assumed Logan would be the first to settle down and marry. Sam, however, was known for being an excellent con-artist. Obviously, things have changed.

So when Logan's parents visit him at work and interrogate him about his relationships, he makes up a girl his family always wanted him to have. When Sam shows up in his office, he seizes the opportunity and tricks them into thinking that she's the dream girl.

Yes, yes, this story is loosely based on 'the Proposal'.
