Haven hasn't been home to New York since she was 18 and aged out of the adoption system. Bad memories of terrible dreams and constant sorrow plague nearly every memory that she carries of her childhood. The few good ones she has are of her friend Sammi.
When Sammi passes away Haven returns for her funeral and the bloody and murderous dreams of her childhood return. While at the funeral Haven finds it too hard to say goodbye to her only childhood friend and runs out.
The moment she passes through those doors however she has no clue that life as she knows it changes forever. She's thrown into a world where her nightmares are all too real.
